I notice from this brief article some specific details I had not seen before...

"Deputy Prosecutor John Johnson said Vance was a predator on the night Pressly was killed and that the Marianna man attacked the woman after she had fallen asleep in bed while working on her laptop computer. "

It sounds like Anne was assaulted maybe earlier in the evening versus later? If she had been using her laptop in bed and dozed off that implies closer to the time she had said she was home, getting ready for bed, etc.

Well the jury started the penalty phase today... I assume they will decide thumbs down for Vance tomorrow. I guess either LWOP or the DP is a lose lose situation. Im happy with death
