Why is LE asking for anyone who saw Ashley with Lucy at the Handi Mart to come forth? Surely not for a description since fiance would be the best source for that. Are they questioning whether Ashley was ever there with Lucy? MOO
Both, I would imagine. Boyfriend is the only witness and maybe he is not able to provide a good physical description even having been in proximity. It happens, others have good recall of even tiniest details.

Surprised perhaps that he did not notice if the vehicle had a number plate.

The more I read the more I’m thinking there was no Lucy. If there is a Lucy, there has to be someone else involved who did the interview at the place they drove to. Ashley would have texted something to her fiancé if there was no interview once Lucy got her to the location. MOO
according to fiance, she texted him to say they were on their way back, though.

She didn't, as per him, text him saying "well that was a bust", or "this is creepy."

Independent of fiance's self-reportage, we don't know what, if anything, she texted.

Benton County investigators have been working around the clock to learn more to find the 33-year-old mother safe. While the sheriff’s office says they have followed several leads from the community and they have made “new developments,” they aren’t saying specifics yet due to the sensitivity of the ongoing investigation.

What is known is that authorities are searching the borders of Oklahoma and Missouri with what they say is a special interest in the southern part of Missouri.

I hadn’t seen this part:
As for what happened Monday night, Willis and his family are holding out hope but are concerned about what the intentions are of "Lucy."

"It's my opinion... I think she offered Ashely money for the baby and Ashley turned her down," Willis said. "If you see her please contact your local PD immediately to get her home safely for her kids to be able to hold her again."

This gets more confusing as it goes. Why would "Lucy" drive back and pass AB's boyfriend just to continue on now that LE is saying their interests are in OK and MO? It would have been safer for "Lucy" to just keep going from wherever she took AB. IMO.

Exactly. I don't think Lucy exists. IMO.

Call in tips to Detective Susan Matthews at 479.271.1008 ext. 3639

The expectant Mother, Ashley, quit her job because the doctor warned her about possible complications with her pregnancy. Thus, she sought a work from home job. I don't know anyone who looks for a job on FB but apparently some do. Sounds like Ashley was doing things right to financially care for her babies, including the unborn. (edited to unborn)

What does the bf, JW, do for a living that he's able to drop Ashley off at the Handi-Stop in the morning and return at 3pm to pick her up? He had to be standing outside, maybe near his vehicle, because it sounds like he ran after the tan truck. Wonder why he didn't run to his truck and attempt to locate them. Why didn't Ashley acknowledge him?

Allegedly, he received a text from Ashley's phone around 3pm, stating she was in Gravette and he could pick her up at the Handi-Mart-Stop. I don't think Ashley sent that text message. It's my opinion that she didn't willingly toss her own phone, her lifeline, out of the tan truck's window.

"All of a sudden, Lucy the lady that she was with; looked at me and just kept driving. Never stopped, nothing. I hollered at her and I chased her down. By the time I could catch up to the top of the hill to see which way she was going on, she was already gone."
MISSING: Pregnant woman last seen near Arkansas gas station

@ 1:35 Busy place that mini mart
@2:47 bf says his opinion is that Lucy was offered money for the baby.
@3:06 "for her kids to actually be able to hold her again" Most mothers hold their children not vice versa. I get it tho, he's upset and concerned.

It's been longer than 48 Hours.

YT video to go with your linked story

The news video at this link has an interview with Ashley's fiance that clarifies a couple of details. He said that he and Ashley met Lucy on Friday for what they thought was the first of two job interviews. Lucy seemed nice and even offered them baby clothes.

The fact that "Lucy" HAD baby clothes to offer them is terrifying, given what we know happened to Ashley when she went with "Lucy" for an "interview." Hoping this isn't going to turn out to be a variation on the Savannah Greywind murder but I fear this is likely similar to what occurred.
