Was really hoping for a different outcome. RIP Beverly.

As a homicide survivor, I understand these sentiments entirely. There is a quiet rage that develops that sits in your gut. You do everything in your power to suppress it, because it is so incredibly powerful. I am not a violent person and have spent my medical career caring for people. Violence is not in my character structure.

However, given permission and opportunity, I would have shot the two perps that killed my 20 year old brother, dead without remorse. I don't advocate violence in any way shape or form. I don't like guns and I don't own one for obvious reasons. But I do understand this sentiment completely, even though it is not a rational thought.

:grouphug: Zuri....

Here's a transcript of what Lewis said to reporter Shannon Miller while he was being escorted from the Pulaski County Courthouse after entering his not guilty plea:

Reporter: Arron are you hurting for some reason?.
Lewis: Yeah, I got in a car wreck the other day. I haven't been to the hospital yet.
Reporter: You pleaded not guilty. Why?
Lewis: Because that's what my lawyer said to do.
Reporter: Did you in the courtroom originally say you wanted to get it over with, that you wanted to plead guilty?.
Lewis: Yeah
Reporter: Why?
Lewis: I just want this all over with.
Reporter: So, did your lawyer basically encourage you to plead guilty.
Lewis: I'm just sorry it all happened. I just want it all over.

Well too bad for you Arron! For her family it will NEVER be over

Some things I've notice in the short time I've been on here this morning..

A) AL seemed as if he were "coming down" during his perp walk to the car.
B ) Anyone that has had any experience with meth/speed knows that when you come down - you do so HARD. It can and usually does take a person into the lowest low. Which may be a reason he wanted to plead guilty to it all.
C) The person he named posted manically on FB from right before the last time BC was heard from and there is a time gap in his posts on that day from approx 4:30p - 9:30p
D) I haven't been through the content of the videos "named person" posted but some of them appear to be of a violent nature.
E) Since there was a sudden burst of posting, could it be a way for this person to establish some type of alibi or timeline to discount him?
F) I noticed also that this person, under "recent activity" liked FH's page and became friends with Adam Nash (was this the same guy that called 911?).
G) If AN is the guy that called 911, how soon before or after did he become friends with "named person"?

I recall someone up thread referring to hoping AL going through bad withdrawal from drugs...Unless he was doing something other than "speed" he won't withdrawal too badly and it will only be for a short time, unlike bezodiazepines or opiates. All of this is MOO while trying to connect dots and make sense of this tragedy. :(

BBM - this so random to me, am I the only one thinking this?

RIP Beverly. I wish someone would take this dirt bag out. What a waste of a human.

i dont think this was his first murder, imo.
<snip>

I thought about that too. I imagine anyone who he felt disrespected him was in danger of some kind of retribution. MOO at the least he probably had murderous thoughts many, many times against people who he felt "slighted" him.

RIP Beverly and sending condolences to her loving family :(

I wish they would just let Beverly's husband and son go in there with a couple of baseball bats and finish this guy off.

He has nothing whatsoever to contribute to this world.

WHY can't I "thank" this post 100 times!!! ???

I still think that he is not telling the whole story and now he wants to admit his guilt. He is still covering for someone or something. ( just my thoughts) If I veered off coarse, I want to express my deepest condolences and want to imply "peace"for Beverly's family/friends and every person that has been a victim to homicide.

I keep typing out a sentence but can't figure out how to say it without violating terms of service.

I just don't see it as likely that this idiot pulled a name and description (job description) of a supposed accomplice out of the air, and then it turns out that name and description (job description) just happens to match someone who has been following the case and is NOT a known friend of this idiot's (that is, if you assume they'd be Facebook friends if they were actual friends in real life). I also don't see this idiot having been following this story on the internet for the last few days to notice WHO has been following it, read up on a stranger to the point that he could describe him to point the finger at him in case he got caught, and then did just that.

What is the Facebook group FH? What does FH stand for? I am not from the area.
TIA

The sad thing is that there is never really any closure. Even though she was found, even though he's admitted everything, even though he will never have freedom again. Beverly lost her life and it is completely senseless. Not only was she a victim, her family and friends will continue to be victims for a long long time.

I know from experience 3 times. I don't believe in owning a gun and I'm rather a pacifist yet my husband doesn't understand why I believe in the DP and why I too would like to take a baseball bat to these . Then maybe there would be closure. I feel your pain and it's ok! It's completely normal IMO

It's so strange and I agree with what you're saying.

Maybe he wasn't planning to rob her at all. He said he did it because she was a rich broker and worked alone. Maybe he just hated the fact that she was rich (in his mind, anyway), female, worked alone.

Surely he didn't think that when someone makes a cash deal on a house, they literally bring a briefcase full of money, sign the papers right there at the kitchen table. If he did, he is dumber than a bag of hammers. No offense to hammers.

^^This is what I was getting at in a previous post up-thread. You just said it better and in a lot fewer words...lol

I hope we find out how the police got a tip about where to find her body. Someone else is involved.

I just woke up after staying up late on this. The last I saw was him being hauled to jail. Wow. Not the outcome I was hoping for. RIP Beverly.
