I've been following this for about two years, but am just now posting, forgive me if we've touched on this.

I've known a few young ladies who had the name of a friend or sister tattooed on them after death. I've wondered if maybe Kim is an older sister, perhaps one who raised her after a parent or parents death, who also passed prior to her becoming transient.

This would explain if there isn't a missing persons who matches her, they may also be deceased themselves. Extended family may be all that's out there and they are grown apart enough not to know she is missing, or even exists.

Someone earlier on this thread suggested Diane Bourne of Canada might be Kim. Do we know if Diane was ever ruled out or not? Was Diane ever submitted to LE as a possible match?

This MP, age 15/16, Eva Marie Ridall , went missing in May 1977. Kim was found in June of 1978. Eva ran away from her Florida home, and is believed to have gone to Cincinnati, but her ultimate destination was California. Her hair is listed as light brown, but she colored it blonde. Eva has the same high cheekbones as Kim. Her relatives are saying her eyes were either blue or hazel. Eva's height is listed on various sites as 63-66 inches, Kim's height is estimated at 62 in. There is a mention of a very small tat on Eva's ankle, but her cousin doesn't remember what the tat looked like or which ankle. (LE might be holding that back for Kim). Eva used at least one pseudonym before her disappearance.

I am not saying Eva was pregnant, but if she was pregnant when she disappeared, there would have been time to give birth. We know Kim had given birth.

Eva appears to have the same nose shape as Kim, based on Carl's recon of Kim. Imagine Eva with her hair cut shorter than in her photo with the blonde hair.

Disappeared from Kennwick, WA on June 16th, 1978 -That's all for circumstances
There is virtually no information on June that I could find.
Height - 61 inches
Weight-90-150 pounds
Birthmark on neck, no mention of a tattoo
For hair and eyes, it is listed unk or missing/unk or completely bald, so I'm thinking someone got confused between an MP and a UP.
From the picture it appears brown/brown for both but that's just my take.
She was last seen wearing jeans and red top, no mention of jewelry or footwear
There is a resemblance between the pm photos and the 1 photo of June.
I'm wondering if the JH tattoo on the male UP/companion of this Jane Doe stood for June Howard.
They both have DNA as listed as available, so it's most likely a default rule out. I just wish they could list those, too.

Apparently he was shot three times while she was shot once. Maybe his face was so badly destroyed by the extra shots that authorities didn't think it made sense to release post-mortem photos. NamUs doesn't even mention the fact that she was shot, an odd detail to leave out, but it does mention some rule-outs in terms of ID:

its odd that she was killed or dumped before he was , and he was dumped 30 min up the road by what the map is telling me, its also odd that there is no mention of any kind of investigation, and cant find a thing, even old newspaper clipping ???? its like they were killed and that's it .

Two victims and neither ID since 1978..sad. The killer planned to find a victim or has done this before. He knew to drop the bodies in seperate states to throw off the police and shot them differently...female head and male neck. How certain are they this was a couple? Are they only going on what the witness/waitress said? Maybe miss ID. Could be two diff people who were not associated.....??
