What was his motive for killing her? I just find it hard to believe that he waits to the age of 46 to begin killing.
hmmmmm........I'm not familiar with this case. However, from what I see said by the Supreme Court, it does appear his 5th Amendment was violated.
I would HOPE, IF he did this crime, LE has something else. Although this guy had a previous record, none of that was violent. Wonder what made them pick him? Plus, they did receive inquiries by two other agencies but never heard back, so he must not be connected to those cases.
I guess, legally, they'd have to either retry him or let him go.

A 46-year-old truck driver from Desha County is charged in the death of 17-year-old Casey Crowder. Crowder was reported missing August 28 after her car ran out of gas on Highway 65 in Dumas. Six days later, after an extensive search, her body was found near a canal. Authorities say, DNA evidence and resident interviews led to the arrest.
