What Cassie's case needs is a SW or two or more. We know that there have been task forces in the area, such as ATF, possibly because of anti government and/or anti police points of view and activity. It would surely be interesting to see if any areas attributed to preppers and the like cross over into/onto anyone's properties who are players in Cassie's case. Let's take TS, for example. We have done some research regarding property ownership of other players here-what about the Snyders? At the end of the day, the last seen for Cassie was the Snyder home. Tracey said so herself on JVM. That was the last sighting of Cassie. We havent heard from anyone else who saw her live and in person after the Snyder home.

Search Warrants. That would certainly get the ball rolling and maybe even cause some stories to start falling apart.

Michelle Owens' family is demanding Det Mark Duke be removed as her investigator.

Chambers said that Connell along with SPD Criminal Investigation Division Lt. Mark Duke are over the case and that the “family respectfully asks that detective Mark Duke be removed from the case ASAP. The family requests a new detective be appointed, because black lives matter.”​

Not only did Chambers ask for Duke to be removed along with Connell but also stated, “Stuttgart Mayor J.W. Green Jr. must understand that the buck ultimately stops at his desk.​

Ms. Judy can do the same. I strongly urge Cassie's mother to consider having a spokesperson of a similar caliber start pushing buttons. Michelle and Cassie's disappearances will continue to be linked until both are found.

I wonder if there is any crossover in the investigation besides the investigator and the town they disappeared from.

The home that sent calls saying Cassie was kidnapped and in the living room has tons of relatives who are preppers, and they hunt and have some sort of home-base in Casscoe. Just sayin'.

I just spent the last week reading all 6 threads & here are my thoughts, fwiw, I think maybe CC & HS were friends w/benefits, could she have found out she was pregnant at the dr visit & told HS & all he thought was "I've got my whole life in front of me, this isn't going to ruin MY life!!!" and went into survival mode so to speak. And TS simply repeated what she has been told by HS.
The reason for her now quietness, is because she has started putting 2 & 2 together & thought wth???
And imo the statement JC made "she is MY daughter" probably made the townsfolk think ok, NOW you wanna act like a mother, then YOU go find YOUR daughter! I think JC pushed people away with her statements & actions, or lack of.
Idk it is very strange, I have 2 daughters & I'd move heaven & hell to find them if something were to happen to either of them!! Her statements & lack of urgency strikes a nerve with me, as I'm sure it did with many local people!
I don't get why BR would've called TS to ask where CC was? I get he's a little off or strange but that doesn't mean he's stupid!

There isnt much chatter that I can find on the www about Cassie. If the FBI jumps on board the Michelle Owens case, maybe we will see some more concrete signs that they could be linked. I would love to know if there are people in common with Cassie and Michelle. Other than Mark Duke that is. Early early on we talked about gangsta wanna be's and racial barriers and the haves/have nots.

No offense but the more I comb Stuttgart on Google Earth, the more confused I am about the statement regarding the haves/have nots. Maybe my perspective is too global.

I will preface this by saying, this is just my opinion.

I find these assessments to be a little unfair. How do we know that the family isn't actually trying to get more information out there? Do we know for sure how the mother spends her days? Do we know for sure if she is or isn't making phone calls, going door to door, hanging flyers, etc? Is it possible that maybe the media just isn't picking it up?

I say this because there are 1000's of missing persons yet only a few make even local news stories. I don't think we can speculate that in all those cases that weren't on the local news, it's because the family didn't care enough to try.

So sad that even all our great sleuthers here can't obtain enough information to help find this girl. If the folks who hold that information cannot/will not cooperate in finding Cassy, we certainly are limited.

Ive been active on WS for awhile and came across Cassie's thread when some posted about a possible LE cover up on another case. Ive spent the past weekend catching up on CC case and reading all I can find. I personally think, and its only my opinion, that there is something VERY fishy obout TS & HS, possibly others connected to them. I would love to hear from Brandon about what made him think that Cassie was still with HS and/or TS? He has to have some reason for asking if she is STILL with them. Has he ever confirmed publically that he saw her walk into the house? Is it possible he also saw HS's truck around the house after he dropped her off? In my opinion, a mother isnt really a solid air tight aliby....especially if she knew something was "an accident" and didnt think others would see it as such. I find it odd that TS feels the need to be so vocal, attention seeking even in other forums yet cant provide a single picture of Cassie with them at the demo or Sunday at her home. I have teenage daughters who are now the age Cassie was when she went missing. I know 1st of all THEY'D NEVER EVER SPEND THE NIGHT AT A BOY'S HOUSE, no matter "just friends" or not. Hormones and curiosity run rampid durring these teen years. Secondly, not a day goes by, especially when out with friends, do they not take NUMEROUS selfies and make numerous posts on social media, Instagram being the favorite the last year or two. If there were any question my child, was involved, Id want to clear those suspicions with more than just a lot of attention seeking or appearing to be attention seeking behaviors.
Id also like to add, that I work closely with a lot of people that seem odd or off to much of the community because of their out of the norm behaviors such as biking around town constantly playing the guitar and making up "war stories". Too often in our very small town are these "weirdos" the 1st to be looked at when anything goes on in town. Im not defending him, especially if theres any truth to the rumors, but, he does seem like an easy one to cast doubt on and contradict his story. When it comes down to believing HS or him....it seems that most of the town wouldnt believe Brandon 1st...(although him giggling when someone told him they saw Cassie, is creepy!)

I don't believe LE is covering up anything, I personally think LE doesn't know where to search, what to investigate &/or who to believe.
I'm sure they're kinda how we all are....just scratching our heads wondering what happened.
I too wish we had Brandon's side of the story, in my opinion, he is the one who holds the key, whether it is a good or bad key, who knows??!!??

I wasn't implying that you did, I was actually agreeing with you...lol
I had read up the thread that Brandon did take & fail a polygraph but I don't believe LE has ever confirmed it. And no public statement other than his interview at the very beginning with the mom, the one that he said "she was gone like a whisper in the wind". That was kind of an odd thing to say but I've read way stranger in other cases!!!

I ask you this in reply - There are 1000's of missing people here in WS. It is VERY obvious when family is actively searching, and it is very obvious when they are not. And, if you or someone you know has contacted said family member and offered help, advice and loyalty, yet that family does NOTHING - well, it's pretty easy to conclude.

Enigmatic, I know. But factual.
