I beg of her family to stand up and scream for Cassie's return. By letting a stranger like TS have the reins and no word from family, no taking back the power, is just something I could never imagine doing.

Cassie is just as important as the next girl. Everyones silence from family and community members, shines bright.

Something happened in Oct. I haven't figured it out yet but something happened. The fbi were called in, a rescue mission was setup, and dead silence from everyone. No flyers except mom. No friends post a word about Cassie. The original group of people that were actively engaged in searching, gone. And no updates from the LE.
Someone knows something.

I hope Cassie comes home ♥

It is hard to persevere, especially on a case like this one where the motives of people are muddy, there are few details and LE doesnt seem to be demonstrating a passion for closing out this case.

That being said, the continued pressure collectively (imvho) has taken a case that was classified as a runaway to a case where SPD says they receive daily/weekly leads and Cassie is now a priority. I have a sneaking suspicion that this would not have happened if we (the www collectively) had let it sit dead in the water.

There have been active searches outside of the media covered ones. She is on peoples radar. She received national media even long after the JVM interview which was given by a virtual stranger. These are good things.

Cassie Kay, we care. We are not apathetic. And someone is going to find you.

If you know where Cassie is or you think you know, the time is coming for you to square your conscience. First one to the DA wins the deal.

Question. When they say "initial report", that could encompass not only TS talking to an officer on Sept 15th but possibly BR did go to the spd to report CC?

We havent seen any evidence that BR did or didnt go to LE. We have a VI posting that they saw the report and could name the officer BR spoke to. All we have right now is the MP report filed by JC, as sparse as it is. To that point, we dont have a MP report filed by TS either although she claimed "we" filed it on Monday in the morning.

So sad that even all our great sleuthers here can't obtain enough information to help find this girl. If the folks who hold that information cannot/will not cooperate in finding Cassy, we certainly are limited.

I began following this thread because I have a relative with the same first name (though different spelling) and hate to see this thread fade away. Oh well, nothing stopping us from hoping/praying.

I decided to start rereading this case from thread #1 with fresh eyes, because initial instincts seem to usually be the correct ones in the end. I was always under the impression that she said nothing to her parents, which has always made me question if she actually really came home. So I'm abandonng that line of thinking and starting over with an open mind.

According to early articles, such as the one quoted sbove, Cassie came home, changed clothes, and left. Just before leaving she texted HS and then she was gone. That is literally all we know about her 'last seen'.

BRs light criminal history, young age in comparison to JC, pension for being a little controlling, and reputation as the weird guy in town accompanied by his creepy line of "she disappeared like a whisper in the wind" puts him square in the middle.

But there is no evidence he caused harm to Cassie. JC was home, but there is no evidence that she harmed Cassie.

So we must assume she left to either go get cigarettes, or that text was a code phrase for HS to come back and pick her up.

If she left to go get cigarettes, where did she usually go for cigarettes? The local stores have no recollection of a 15 year old buying cigarettes that night. Do they have no recollection because they don't want to be in trouble for selling to a minor, or is there video and she never appears on it? LE has not been forthcoming about this. But we'll go with "she didn't buy at any store" since I'm trusting the MSM reports.

So then, she would have needed to buy from a person she knew. Do people sell cigarettes? Is that a thing? Since she didn't have a car, maybe HS came back to get her to take her to her cigarette guy. Like I said maybe it was code for "come get me now".

If we roll back a few days, we must now include other key players. DB was mentioned on her FB, and his FB indicates he had a thing for her. DB and HS were friends, so it's possible HS took her to see DB. However, DB was posting on his FB the following day that he was looking for people to hang out with. If Cassie was with him, would he do that?

Where was Cassie the Friday night before she disapeared? Her FB mentioned she wanted to go to the football game. Did she go? Who took her? What time did she get home?

Who picked her up Saturday before she went to the derby?

If we fast forward in time, we now read postings from love stuck boys. One such posting includes a line thats says 'then she was gone all in 1 night', and tags Cassie in the posting.

After reading a recent blog posting, there are 3 boys and a stepdad mentioned as possible suspects (all noted above). I include a 5th, which is the kid (or some male from his household) who made the 911 calls stating Cassie was kidnapped and in the home.

That makes 5-6 potential persons that might know the whereabouts of Cassie Compton.

Why does everything I post about Cassie always end with a question mark?

I was 15 in 2000 and I used to buy cigarettes at local gas stations all the time. We would count our dimes until we got to 4 dollars and the guy would just roll his eyes. But he never ID'd us. I Know corner stores might even sell to kids under the "for my mom" guise. I mean who knows! If cops came in asking about me I don't think for one second they would admit to selling me cigarettes (because I was just one of many underage kids buying stuff there) BUT they might admit I was in the store to buy a pop or something.. But no guarantee. Unless something haooened to Cassie in the store the owner was a witness to I don't think they would feel obligated to put their business at risk. Just IMO.

And just the other day I was dropping my husband at the train and saw a guy selling cigarettes. I assume that's what he does! I live in a large city so I assume it's probably more common in smaller, even poorer areas. I quit smoking but cigarettes were 10 bucks even then! Maybe Cassie did know somebody who sold them out of their home. And maybe the young man who supposedly dropped her at home knew where that was?

If JC was disposed for whatever reason, did she even know the state of Cassie's bedroom when she left for the weekend? Could she be mistaking things cassie left behind on Saturday instead of Sunday? Cassie didn't plan on staying home if she did indeed return home.. Wouldn't she have relayed that to her mom? Unless she was upset BR was there and HS knew Cassie didn't want to be home. She seemed to (very generally) let her mom know she was coming home so it seems weird she wouldn't let her kno she was heading of really quick again. It is just question marks! So either Cassie never returned home, or it was made to seem like she left again? Hmmm..

Theres very little information on the second teenager so hopefully.

Can anyone verify some of our POI facebook pages to see if they are friends with the person arrested in this case, an Amber Johnson, 28yo!

Then in this other article it says that the girl had been recovered last wednesday (along with a 2 and 3yo but no mention of the other teen in this one).

I hope she is one of the teen but I guess we will have to wait and see! There wasnt much buzz after she went missing so I somewhat doubt there would be any if she was found since the ppl of Stuttgart and around doesn't seem to really care about their missing ppl!
