Skeeter, I SO agree with you. I'm pretty sure if we put our minds to it we can be a bigger voice than we are locked in this thread.
Plus there are other forum platforms we can scream and holler in, some with less restrictions.
I think many people who come here can be bored or nosey people, thus watering down the quality of conversation. But to simply brush this place off is foolish. There are professional LE people who read here daily, post here, SAR from here, and advocate for victims through this forum. However, unless a family member is holding the reigns, our collective hands are tied.
People that have family advocating for them here get found. People who are abandoned don't as often. It says a lot about how a parent will go to any length, including opening themselves to scrutiny, if that's what it takes to find their baby.
Those who appear non interested probably aren't. That's the sad truth.
There are cases active right now that prove how supportive we are to family members. I know that I am very protective under certain circumstances. Obvious parental involvement in the harm of a child is a different kettle of fish. But deep in my heart I do not for one minute believe Judy would harm her child. If only she would let us help her. Or her son could take the risk to speak out , which seems an even more positive choice. If only...
There are several bloggers who have posted about Cassie, and other bloggers who don't post but retweet info. I think a campaign to blow up twitter and blogs will capture some MSM attention. It's worth a try.
Load both barrels and aim for the biggest target, I say. I would start with the recipient of that last known text.
