Then it's a doomed proposition.

That family hasn't done diddly to be proactive except release some balloons, which is typically a memories gesture after someone passes away. Maybe THAT speaks volumes.

I could be wrong, but I believe that site is for NCIC and the LE was supposed to enter Cassie's information.
This is NCIC, National Crime Information Center : http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ncic/
Criminal justice agencies enter records into NCIC that are accessible to law enforcement agencies nationwide.

This is ACIC, Arkansas Crime Information Center - Missing Persons Information
Arkansas law requires all missing persons to be entered immediately.

With this missing persons service, law enforcement agencies will be able to forward missing persons information to ACIC and have it displayed in a public forum available to anyone around the world who has access to the Internet.

Law enforcement agencies desiring to post a photograph and event information of a missing person should contact Billy Clinton at 501-682-7409, Monday through Friday, 0730-1600 hours or email her at [email protected].

A copy of the agency's Missing Person Report and a clear photograph will be required with an agency case number. The report and photograph can be sent via regular mail or the report can be faxed and the photograph sent regular mail or e-mailed as a .jpg file to ACIC.

Maybe LE does have to be the one to enter it, but family should push hard and enforce it. Maybe they did it and I just can't find her name. Can someone else try?

I tried just using the last name only and came up with nothing. Unbelievable.

Interesting...

Unfortunately its no real surprise, poor cassie has been let down every which way!

What makes a missing childs case popular? The more I read and notice fb pages, the more I wonder about it. Is it money, prestige, college education, etc? I've seen a page gain 10 thousand likes within 2-3 weeks.
What does it take to get Cassie's case more public attention?
Im disheartened by the lack of outcry in her own community:(

Who is the "team" of people running the social media apps, monitoring whom the le believes are the suspects?

http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?p=11267366

And post #313 is concerning to me.
I believe this is referencing the FCC facebook page. The admins include AM and TS, and one other I think. That passage makes it sound as though they are in bed with SPD 's own MD, doesn't it?

By the way that's worded and the way the FB is controlled (ie: deleting anything negative about their own and perpetuating unsubstantiated rumors about Cassie's family), it serms as though they are guiding the media efforts and search efforts in the direction that best suits themselves. It is my opinion that this is NOT to watch the guilty, but to maintain control so the guilty aren't caught.

This approach will not find Cassie and makes them appear highly suspect and untrustworthy.

Good find. I keep meaning to go back and reread from the beginning. A daunting task.

I've often wondered why those people have control of Cassie's Facebook page and not her family. It's quite out of the ordinary, and probably unethical.

IIRC got4 indicated she had an in with the FCC group, correct got4?

Cassie needs a team to advocate for her. She needs more than flyers, she needs a voice. I'm thinking of this young lady and hope that someone does the right thing and tells what they know ♥

Skeeter, I SO agree with you. I'm pretty sure if we put our minds to it we can be a bigger voice than we are locked in this thread.

Plus there are other forum platforms we can scream and holler in, some with less restrictions.

I think many people who come here can be bored or nosey people, thus watering down the quality of conversation. But to simply brush this place off is foolish. There are professional LE people who read here daily, post here, SAR from here, and advocate for victims through this forum. However, unless a family member is holding the reigns, our collective hands are tied.

People that have family advocating for them here get found. People who are abandoned don't as often. It says a lot about how a parent will go to any length, including opening themselves to scrutiny, if that's what it takes to find their baby.

Those who appear non interested probably aren't. That's the sad truth.

There are cases active right now that prove how supportive we are to family members. I know that I am very protective under certain circumstances. Obvious parental involvement in the harm of a child is a different kettle of fish. But deep in my heart I do not for one minute believe Judy would harm her child. If only she would let us help her. Or her son could take the risk to speak out , which seems an even more positive choice. If only...

There are several bloggers who have posted about Cassie, and other bloggers who don't post but retweet info. I think a campaign to blow up twitter and blogs will capture some MSM attention. It's worth a try.

Load both barrels and aim for the biggest target, I say. I would start with the recipient of that last known text.

Can we work to get her on there or does have to come from family?

I think IMO that's the reason she is not on there, the missing need massively proactive parents which poor CC doesn't seem to have MOO.

Not only is the family not publicly proactive, but secretive and scared of others. They should care little to nothing about the opinions of others. They should go for the throats of anyone who stands in their way. They should surround themselves with support and activists working on THEIR family's behalf. Instead, they sit passively and silently in the dark, letting other people control Cassie's fate.

There are people here who would go off the WS grid to help and support family behind the scenes, if asked. People here throw down $ to help. They get in their cars and search. They walk through the brush and search. They stand hand in hand with family to help them find their child. If asked.

But that has never been forthcoming here. And so your past is a little icky and embarrassing. Who cares. It's old news. But when the future actions simply mimic past behavior, sitting on hands while others take advantage of your child, then well.... you get what you get.

It's time for your family to stand up for your girl, Judy. Ask for help. Take a chance and trust someone. You have nothing to lose at this point. Don't allow those who caused harm to your beautiful daughter to get away with it. Pull up your sleeves, clench your fists, and come out fighting.

I don't think he'll step off unless TS gives him permission. We all know who's running that PD, and it ain't MD.

That's okay though. Gathering gathering gathering. Stuttgart is filled with nice, lovely people who LOVE to gossip. I like a nice rotund target when I go all in, put up my dukes (haha pun intended).
