Remains identified as missing Jonesboro woman

Public Information Officer Sally Smith said the Arkansas State Crime Lab identified the remains using dental records. A cause of death was not released.
The remains were found in a patch of woods close to the subdivision in which Prescott lived.

Lisa Prescott’s family reacts to ending their two-year search
"Lisa’s body was found Oct. 10, 2020, only 1,300 feet from her home. Her family will finally be able to lay her to rest."
Now, her family has indicated that Lisa could not walk more than 300 feet unassisted. Either they misjudged her physical condition, or someone else was involved in moving Lisa. Listening to the Vanished ep now, I am leaning towards the second option. IMO
Hoping they can establish COD but they are dealing with skeletal remains.

The Help Find Lisa Prescott Facebook page, posted the following after receiving confirmation that Prescott’s remains had been found:

“We would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and support for our family over the last two years. We received confirmation today that the remains found last Saturday are our beloved Lisa. We ask that everyone continue to keep our entire family in your prayers as we grieve our loss.”

According to a post by the JPD, no official cause of death has been determined.
