BREAKING: Police say Karlie's phone was kept and used as proof of life after she was murdered. @7NewsAdelaide @Y7News

Obviously the "well dressed man in his 60's" that was witnessed on 2 separate dates by the town folk is involved with the crime..

(Assuming he has not become deceased in the meantime); it explains why he has not come forward..

None of the witnesses recognised him - so he is from somewhere else...

But why has there been no release of a police sketch of what witnesses recall he looks like?

Why was he well dressed... Is that the way he has to present at his job? If so; it may mean that he originates from nearby.. (ie: a 0.05 - 1.5hr radius from the town)... Where he could "duck out" for a bit - without raising questions...

Can someone advise the dates or days he was seen... If it was a Sunday, for example - then he maybe attending a church; or for week days maybe part of some volunteer type community group meeting within the vicinity? (RSL; Salvos op shop; etc)... He may even be attending a funeral nearby; or works in the funeral industry..

I am just trying to focus on what he was doing randomly wandering around; and why he was smartly dressed... Obviously these things are big clues... These things don't happen in a vacuum.... Was he an older man (a father) - ineptly trying to cover up something that he murderer did...? It would be amazing if the incarcerated pedo that the police have interviewed; or "others"; has an elderly dad; brother; or uncle; etc - that fits the description of the well dressed man...

The incarcerated pedo came out of prison for the police interview from min security... went back in - into the max security area...

This may be either because (a) they didn't want him escaping - and he is the"one"; or (b) wanted to avoid him being stabbed by other inmates, once they learned what was happening; (c) is intending putting him with a new roommate that is unfamiliar; in an unfamiliar area; where this (police undercover) cellmate starts to get information from him; or (d) the person the police interviewed is actually police - whom they want to put inside with a believable cover story - because they want to target someone else who is a real inmate in max security - and a suspect...

How did the old man turn up in the town; (was his vehicle "hidden" somewhere in the bush nearby / or was he dropped off by someone; then collected later... / was he visiting a friend he knows in the town - explains that his vehicle could have been "hidden" in someone's garage or lock up ... and then driven out with the headlights off at 2am etc...).

Then the original disposal of the suitcase... Could have it been thrown originally from a train (by a train employee?)... from the nearby train tracks... Has the police checked what the common speed for all trains are in the area of disposal... A slow moving train would fit this mo, imo... That slow train could be a regular schedule - or if all the trains are speeding in that area - then its more likely the driver needs to dramatically slow or stop the train momentarily to dispose of the suitcase... A night schedule would be 'perfect' for this...

Centerlink payments continued to be received but was taken from account.
Confirmed Karlie died Dec 2008.

Karlie's banking records were updated at CPS CU in Elizabeth SA by a woman in a wheelchair posing as Karlie.

BREAKING: Police say a female falsely represented herself Karlie's on the phone to get money from her family. @7NewsAdelaide @Y7News

watching, this is just so sad, they were taking her ID and asking for $$ from the family. A woman was involved.

Also - woman went to Centrelink at Salisbury and identified herself as Karlie.

Well no wonder they said there were signs of life after the missing persons report!! Holy moly!

Did they confirm when Khandalyce died? I saw that they died at different times but wasn't sure if I'd missed that.

"Need to determine if the people involved in the frauds were also involved in the murders"
