Trust account will be in Dickies name because you cannot operate trust accounts from prison. True.
I'm firmly perched on my nesting box on a cause.... Regardless if GBC is guilty or not, I reckon grandparents like the Dickies or an 'outsider' who can be trusted 100% should be the only ones to have access to the BC girls Trust account.

Ever since I became trustee for that 10 year old I find I am shocked at how such an account can be mismanaged and manipulated by the Trustee, especially if that Trustee doesn't have to be legally accountable to some other 'body' at how the money is spent. Keeping in mind the girls themselves have no legal access or legal way to ask for any of the money whilst it is in Trust. Except if they suspect it's mismanaged, via another adult which is expensive and needs proof that the money has been misused.

It's a mind boggler.

I realize they were there was computer taken from BC house on the Friday. But I also saw it reported that the laptop etc they took from BC seniors house was GBC'S also. I will try to find the link.

Ok..can't find it at the moment. I would swear I saw an article where it said it was GBC's laptop that was taken from the Seniors house... maybe I am mistaken, but I am positive I saw it....

I remember a comment about the laptop being GBC's but thought it strange because if it was his what would it be doing at his parent's house...if it were at his house he wouldn't have been able to take it out while the house was a crime scene...anyways this is the one of the first reports of computers taken etc.

Earlier, eight police officers spent an hour at a house in Brisbane's west where Mr Baden-Clay and his three daughters have been staying.
Three police cars arrived at 9am and eight officers entered the house, which is home to the parents of Mrs Baden-Clay's husband, Gerard, The Courier-Mail reported.
The officers left at 10am with several bags, including one containing an Apple laptop computer and a hard-drive.

Detectives have collected material in bags, including a computer from his parent's house.

Police have also searched Mr Baden-Clay's workplace in Taringa.

Officers have taken a bag of shredded paper, a diary, computer files and other evidence.

Just an observation as every other depiction of this photo has shown the bridesmaid. Don't know why it was cropped; maybe because it was an overlay on the news video.

Possibly she has asked for CM to crop it..cause she's darn sick of being plastered online and in the paper in the background of the BC wedding shots.. can't say I blame her if thats the case.

She's still in the background of the news.com.au article.

I'm really glad Berry was told that about the media and what they aren't allowed to say as this is how some of us have perceived it from the get-go.

Yep you are right you know..It would be strange given the fact his house was a crime scene..Unless his computer was already at the folks house. Maybe the Media misreported it again. As you are right I can't find that original where I am certain they said it was his laptop. Maybe the laptop was originally at work, and so not seized at the house, then he took it from work to his parents place and it was seized from there? don't know..

Thanks. Yes, I realise that the most recent photo has been cropped but I was answering Jubilee.

I dont think it means anything. There are also photos where she is smiling.

I've not personally seen any other photos at all of the bridesmaid, smiling or not and I was asking her where she'd seen these other photos.

Having said that, I think we should leave the bridesmaid out of this. She is an unwitting participant in this horrendous crime. The newspaper that originally published the wedding photo should have used their nouse and cropped it before publishing. IMO.

Allisons sister Vanessa is one of the trustees

The CM makes a point of saying he doesn't have access to the trust(which is quite normal) just to make a negative implication out of it.

If this is money for children of a murdered woman, in what way do see this statement being made to form a 'negative implication' jubillee?

Agreed. Its taken them long enough to decide to crop it. Maybe as I said only done on the request of the woman in question.

Yep you are right you know..It would be strange given the fact his house was a crime scene..Unless his computer was already at the folks house. Or Police ok'd him to take it from his house for whatever reason..but then came back for it..(though I don't know, they would need to have checked it and if he took it there its risky he would delete stuff.). Maybe the Media misreported it again. As you are right I can't find that original where I am certain they said it was his laptop. Be safe to say if the laptop was at his house there's no way he'd be permitted to take it out....who knows what else police took from his house for testing after it became a crime scene. I don't think any of thats been mentioned...except the cars impounded.

Apparently Allison's siblings are trustees for the account.

I understand. I am an Administrator Re VCAT. I must complete financial plans and ABAs. It can be a mine field. All it requires is honesty and maintain VCAT orders.

My ex-husband left the family when our daughter was 9: he chose to have limited contact with her, because he had "another life to lead". The family (three much older siblings) were devastated, particularly for her, but she seemed to rise above all their angst, my sadness, and her father's failings. She (now a wonderfully successful adult - mid twenties) still has contact with him, but is patently aware of his shortcomings. Some children seem to be quite resilient ... and maybe it's in the nature of the child, or of their attachment to a particular parent, that they can overcome terrible loss/trauma. ? I hope and pray that Allison's girls get all the support and encouragement they need.

It will be a very long and hard road for them ...... whatever the outcome.

Agreed..when I thought about my post..I'll blame it on being tired. It would not be likely they let the laptop go if they had checked it and found it had something relevant. And if they had not checked it, then they aint likely to let it go either! No it hasn't been, other than a computer from the BC house(seperate to the ones from the inlaws).

The implication is that GBC was not allowed access to the money for a reason.

That's great to hear... Sounds like the Trust Account is set up in such a way as to protect the girls because more than one person is a Trustee.

Some people, for example, if there are 3 Trustees have it set up in such a way that either all 3 need to sign to get money out or any 2 out of the 3 people.

Plus (In NSW at least, though I imagine it's Nation wide) you cannot use Fantastic Plastic Savings cards with a pin number at those Fantastic Plastic cash machines and have to go into the bank during business hours to take money out of a Trust Account.
