Another thing, i think i know where this whole 'witness protection' thing started. The other night on one of the trubute pages discussion boards (before they were removed) i saw someone post and simply ask 'was this family on a witness protection scheme at all' (or something similar wording to that) and i dont remember seeing any replys to that. Then somone has mentioned it on another FB page saying something like 'Allegedly this family was/could have been on a witness protection scheme' but in reality i dont believe anyone said that they were, someone just simply put the question out there. So you can see how one little bit of information can get quickly distorted when somone just relays only part of the information or just key words and it ends up being far from what was said.

It could be a troll, could be someone like us trying to figure things out, or it could be someone close wanting to divert the case in another direction for other reasons.
 
Yep I've got that second post in my photobucket on the case.....well some of it, I really should have expanded that one, but I just thought crackpot theory.

Definitely not him, check out the picture on page 9 of this forum. He has a very distinctive appearance and the build is much more slim and lanky.

The video in the ABC news link is definitely him though.

As for the weather, it has been starting to heat up in SA the last week so the sweater is certainly unusual but could just be the way he dresses.
 
He was in one of her tribute vids though it has been taken down now...and he has posted on the FB memorial pages too under a fake ID, but I could only guess which one was him so I can't be sure which one it was, although I did save it.
 
didnt someone here say that they werent in witness protection i cant think who said it though
 
Agree they were not in witness protection...her mum was thinking of running for mayor IIRC hardly low-profile behavior.
 
This kid surely did seem to enjoy the aftermath didn't he?

He post on the memorial page

I'm sure he has made statements to people outside too and I'm willing to bet some reporter has him on tape talking!
 
Since he complains a lot about boredom on {mod edit}I wonder if the murder was partly motivated by a desire to create some excitement for him....a thrill kill followed by involving himself in the aftermath. Classic psychopathic behavior.

I don't necessarily get the sense he's enjoying it. He might be but he pretty much HAD to show up or look suspicious by not going. But Mrs G did you say he posted on the tribute page but under an alter ego? What's that about? If that's true then maybe he was enjoying it.

That's what they were saying on the wall and the site admin confirmed it, I think it was on the RIP Chantelle site...the post I thought was his is not a fake ID though, I just checked it and deleted it from my album so as not to wrongly infer an innocent is JD.

Trying to catch up from page 11 which is where the forum was up to this morning so not quite sure if this has been posted but I think I found a news video on you tube which shows him on his own at the shrine..... it's only really quick and in the last few seconds, seems to look like him from behind and is wearing basket ball shoes

he ws to calm for someone not enjoying it....just looking at him at the memorial shrine thing...you cant see anything suss about .him other than the jumper

is it cold there? And is it normal for the kids to wear shorts and a jacket like that? Could it be his nerves and that is why he has on a jacket?

The weather is still all over the place here. Normally at this time of the year it should be quite warm to hot but this year has been very different. it has been an extremely cold winter. We are still having cool days and warm days in Nov. Everyone has a different tollerance to the temperture. It is currently no where near shorts weather for me and ive been wearing jumpers most days still, at least in the mornings but thats just me.

Why would he post under an alter? Doesn't make sense. What were they saying.. just "oh, yeah he was here under a fake acct."? Anything more?
