So the car was found at Gavial Creek, 20km away, with Robert’s wallet being found 50m from the car.

Clothing that may be Chantal’s has been found 35km away in the other direction near Yeppoon.

Robert’s ring has mysteriously appeared on someone else’s hand.

Now more items have been reported at Larcombe St by the Fitzroy River right in Rockhampton.

By the way things have been spread around, Robert and Chantal could be anywhere!

Searching Woolwash area in Port Curtis.
Looking for signs of human remains, clothing or anything else.
Still have assistance of homicide squad in Brisbane.
There have been a number of searches. They are still getting tip off’s. These are analysed to see if they are genuine.
It is a large area and could take time search. Other areas maybe searched tomorrow. The police did not confirm if a particular property was being searched.
The dog used in the search today is trained to detect human remains. It is the first time a trained dog has been used in this case.
Family are briefed constantly and remain positive.
The DNA testing on the clothing found previously is still being examined.

With their last family contact at the beginning of March, the pair's final movements and the days leading up to their disappearance in Rockhampton remain a mystery.

In a relentless pursuit for answers, police have set up 11 crime scenes and launched 15 searches involving the State Emergency Service, with the latest this week at Midgee.

We are not going away," Detective Acting Superintendent Darrin Shadlow told The Sunday Mail. "We do believe we have spoken to the person or persons responsible."

We plead with members of the public that somebody does know what happened ... we ask them to put themselves in the families' shoes," Supt Shadlow said.

Yes, it looks like it is Pushka. If you click on the profile picture you can see it is linked to Help Find Robert Martinez & Chantal Barnett, and the comments all relate to him being missing as well.

Wow, he just looks different than he does in the other photos I have seen. His face seems much thinner and narrower in other photos and hard to tell with the sunnies, but now I look closely his mouth and nose are the same.

Hoping for some news soon and wishing his mother a peaceful Christmas.

Police say they found no evidence relating to the disappearance of two people during a search of a Rockhampton caravan park late yesterday.

However, Mr Shadlow said despite the setback, the investigation will continue.
