In the CI episode, they stated SS had called a cab to Mossie Park - however, recently when it was suggested that the cab may have ignored the call, Bunnie advised that was not the case as the fare was one that the cabbie would have wanted because they would have been able to pick up another decent fare close by at the airport.
So, Bunnie if you're reading, can you confirm the destination of the cab SS called please? Was it definitely to South Perth as you implied recently or was it as per the CI episode who claimed the cab was called to Mosman Park?
Can you also advise what the cabby did when he got to the corner of Stirling/Stirling if you know please? Ie. slow, stop, turn the corner, wait..... Also, how/when did the cabby advise the fare was no longer?
The footage in the CI episode shows the cab driving straight through the green light at the intersection down Stirling Highway but the dialogue states the cab stops at the red light where the driver looks left up Stirling Rd. If he did not turn up Stirling Rd nor stop at the intersection, its possible SS was there still, perhaps being subdued somewhere near her last verified location standing against a bollard outside BC Body Club. If this was the case, my guess is whoever took her was either already there waiting or they pulled over under the guise of asking her for directions or something. If they had a roadmap out, obviously she wouldn't have been able to show them from the passenger window if they were in the drivers seat so I think its possible she may have opened the door and even got in if that were the case. Or, once she came close to the car, they jumped out with the map and once on the passenger side they threw her in. The 90secs max between the guys stopped at the red light who saw her before turning right up Stirling Hwy and the cab arriving makes no sense to me. I have to think the cabby just didn't notice whatever was going on and she was still there somewhere. Unless, they could have been parked behind the printers and called out to her to assist them - maybe looking for keys etc.. They'd have all the time in the world if she had been tricked into voluntarily recrossing the road and had walked behind the shops and the cabby would never have seen her. Although it is possible she knew whoever it was and got into the car voluntarily, I don't think so. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll get an answer as to what the "not random" means anytime soon either, considering it appears to be forensics they are relying on to connect the 2 murders. Blitz or trick is a much easier method to explain in that case.
