Also I have always found those people in the church group very unsettling. They help prisoners after they leave jail. Why? They backed up Droc’s writings - and even went to the police to back him up.

There is something sinister about that group. MOO

It is not unusual for church groups to help prisoners on release ... I have not taken any notice of the church group but I may have a look at it , see what pops up

I will continue to look into this away from this forum , I'm interested to see what new information should be being discussed here

Still don't get it -sorry- BUT- How is this connected to BRE?

Don't worry , I was only responding to a question , I will not be talking about it here again ... I will leave you to post the new information you have about BRE so old topics do not have to be rehashed

.....Sorry but all these old posts which i recall reading ages ago...what have they got to do with alleged accused?

Sorry if I have missed the point....?

Feeling lost and apologies in advance ...
From my perspective going over old posts has been about looking at scenarios from a 'fresh eyes' approach. We still do not know if there was an accomplice/s involved in the pre-curser, CSK attacks and potentially post CSK attacks.

There is still the possibility that some of the people discussed on WS and other sites in the past have been involved at some point - Reviewing past leads may uncover something further and it is prudent to go over.

For example, there is the possibility that the Accused CSK had access to a taxi. If there was a taxi involved, where did it come from? Who did it belong to?

Being a sleuthing site it is relevant to pursue other directions also - we do not just sit back and discuss the Accused.

I also believe that there is a high likelihood of the CSK being involved in other crimes. All IMO.

I have only been on this site for few months so not sure if this issue has been mentioned... wasnt there a DNA specialist in perth who was fired because he had been doing shonky stuff to dna reports etc... wonder if this could jeopardise things

The guy inside is much broader than the one outside and most blokes have similar haircuts. There is similarities but not relevant to either images IMO. I think its a beer and he checking to see how much he got left.... one skull or two left.... before he gets another one... possibly....

Mobile phones were much bigger than that back then and they pretty much werent really relied upon for photos etc... IMO
Is the guy inside more likely to b the bloke standing in front of MM out the front from the photos of this post.

I thought this might be a useful research document for some sleuths (once you get over the shock of the extent of the crimes)

Thanks Janwa, I've used this site before, like you say, the extent of the crimes is incredible. I've also just found this one:

http://murderpedia.org/male.V/v/vlassakis-james.htm

This is a worldwide reference site. The one I have opened is about the Snowtown Murders. I am particularly interested in this quote (BBM). The idea that the accused may have had an accomplice for these 3 murders, perhaps a younger man, infatuated with him and groomed from a very young age? This bloke, Vlassakis, whom I've never heard of before, had also been sexually abused by his half brother so was no doubt very damaged and vulnerable? JMO.

"Vlassakis met John Bunting when aged fourteen and looked up to Bunting as a father figure. It was alleged Bunting groomed Vlassakis into committing serial murders."

"Troy Youde was the half-brother of Vlassakis. Vlassakis had earlier confided in Bunting that Youde had sexually abused him when he was aged thirteen."[SUB][SUP]

Hi everyone,

Here's something to think about, and good old WA is the place to be if you have a criminal record and want a name change!

QUOTE BBM:

"It seems the done thing by hardened criminals; change names and slip quietly back into society. By changing names, criminals have the opportunity to get their life back on track as they can disassociate with their criminal history, rebuild their confidence, and, in Adrian Bayley’s case, wait for the next opportune moment. Luckily for them, name changes are inconsistently managed at a state level with enough loopholes to allow Adrian Edwards to become Adrian Ernest Bayley. Although he changed names in 2001, with enough planning any criminal is able to change names in Australia.
In New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria criminals under the custody of Corrective Services must have approval in writing from the Chief Executive, however there is nothing to stop a criminal from moving to Western Australia, starting a new life and changing names."

And we know what Adrian Bayley went on to do with his new name don't we?

Video coverage of phone booths down side of Claremont Post Office in 97 - taken from news report, link below around 4.04 min mark.

The phone booths could not be seen from the Conti.

Below a possible scenario that could have occurred to a tired and unsuspecting JR:

  • JR's friend or lift did not turn up and being at closing time, absolutely no taxis available
  • JR is tired now and decides to call a taxi - heads to the phone booths at side of post office - fair way back and out of view of Conti
  • CSK's car is situated reversed in car park just directly near phone booths (as shown in below photo)
  • CSK blitz attacks JR as she is heading into phone booth and places her In boot of car and drives off

“The driver of one motioned to her. He told her the other vehicle had been following her. He offered her a lift. She believed him, and got in.”

Very interesting how Bayley got the Dutch backpacker to get in his car - telling her she was being followed.MOO

Hi Janwa - thanks for the information you posted about the major crimes in Australia over the centuries. Even my worst nightmare case was in there😳

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_major_crimes_in_Australia

“2000s Edit
29 February 2000 – Katherine Knight stabbed, skinned, partially cooked and cannibalised her de facto husband John Price in Aberdeen, New South Wales.”

I wonder where she is and what she is up to in jail. If I was locked up with her I would be terrified😱 MOO

Yes, Annalise that stood out to me too! And what about how Bayley drove his car down a dark laneway and parked it so close on the passenger side that the girl couldn't open the door and get out, totally trapped, in the car, where he proceeded to attack her. No need for a special site, just a nice dark alleyway, and I'm sure the CSK knew where all the darkest ones were?
Do you know Annalise if there were any laneways that would fit the bill in Claremont, near any of our Claremont women's last sightings? I don't know the area at all.

Hi Lampformypath - Bayley parking close to a fence was a well thought out way of trapping a lady in his car! Clever.

I remember reading an account of an attack on a young girl by a man who got off a train the same time as her. It was in Northern suburbs. The man walked up to her and then before she knew it she was on the ground. He had grabbed her ankles and pulled her legs out from under her. Luckily someone came along and he ran off. I can’t find the story to post on here.

I was shocked when I read how he had gotten her on the ground so quickly. A victim could really injure their head that way too. It was like a blitz attack! I have never heard of someone being knocked down like that but it’s very scary.MOO

Of late looking at all the photos of the Conti and considering SS went missing near Stirling Highway, CG last seen on Stirling Highway that JR was not picked up in front of the Conti instead somewhere quieter. The other girls were away from the busy night club areas and alone. The area along the street seems dark. If she went to the phones, she obviously didn't call a cab because the call would be on record like SS's call. Using this theory maybe the CSK met JR at the OBH arranging the meetup later on at the Conti. With a no show JR heads to the phone boxes.

Just a ‘laneway’ reply to Lampformypath: lots of laneways in old Claremont, as the dunnies were all originally on the collection circuit. However only a few lanes near (old)Continental and Rowe Pk, those there would be so close to houses that screams would be heard. Thus if not KK cemetery, or Government Rd, then old Coles New World carpark, or back of BC Body Club, or carpark near old Bunnings, or to tie all the parts together, the old Drive-in site or anywhere east or west of Showgrounds boundaries. IMO any other locations would be too populated and quiet for sound to carry. I lived Nedlands - near cemetery and Cott/Claremont and any noise/scream is and certainly was a case of turning the porch lights on and looking out. Those who live closer to nightspots clearly don’t, but back lanes are not all that unnoticed by residents.
