"If he wants to be famous, he has to be caught" - Copycat Film

Do you think the accused CSK wanted to be famous? Was he hoping to be caught? Perhaps when he was younger - as time went on he may have changed his mind. MOO

I don't think it is ever possible to guess what goes on in a serial killer's mind - there are profilers who spend years studying and working in field to get this right.

However we cannot exclude the possibility that the accused CSK may have wanted to be caught for the attention, notoriety and fame.

Huntingdale to Karagullen is less that half hour drive:

Numerous reminders have been given that all pictures require links to the source, yet the failure to do so continues. Such posts have been removed, not because WS staff are meanies … it is due to the requirements of copyright law. You simply cannot snag someone else’s work and post it without giving credit to the original source. If such violations continue, not only will the posts be removed but we will start issuing timeouts for members who continue to violate copyright.

Other posts have been removed for sleuthing WS members and posting about it on this thread. This also will result in timeouts if it continues.

Some posts have been removed comparing BRE to famous people. It really adds nothing to the discussion of this case, and it is unlikely that famous people would appreciate finding their pics on crime sleuthing forums.

I found the photos of the granite boulders (looking blue) at Karragullen interesting in relation to a post that spoke of blue rocks turning red; and another that noted there were some interesting rocks out at Karragullen. I assume the post with the pics was removed my mods for not crediting the source? Would it be ok to re-post it and credit the source - I can’t recall who posted them though sorry!

Has Karragullen been discussed as a possible place for SS? I don’t know the area at all. Does anyone know the area?

Re-posting photos of Karragullen Marbles - think these can be described as blue.

Thought this was interesting in talking about Karragullen. I looked up the Aboriginal meaning of the place name it means "red gully".

QUOTE (BBM) Page 4:

Karragullen Oval

An important social and recreational facility for the community of Karragullen that is named after the townsite gazetted in 1913.
Karragullen is an Aboriginal name thought to mean ‘red gully’."

https://www.armadale.wa.gov.au/sites/default/files/assets/documents/council/Agenda_-_Comm_Services_Jan_15_2013.pdf

The reason I mention this Indigenous name is that BRE would appear to identify with the indigenous as his Facebook Page contains links to several indigenous websites (Blackfulla Revolution, South West Land and Sea Council, Aboriginal Products) and the
only movie liked by BRE on his Facebook Page is "Jandamarra's War" - the true story of an indigenous man who outsmarted police capture in 1894. This apparent strong "identification" with Aboriginal culture by the accused could have some bearing on the case?

Whadjuk country:

"Whadjuk took in some 2,600 square miles (6,700 km) of land"

Whadjuk is the Aboriginal name for "Land of the Boys"
"Whadjuk, alternatively Witjari, are an indigenous Australian people of the Western Australian region of the Perth bioregion of the Swan Coastal Plain
("Culture and pre-history final paragraph):
'Whadjuk was known as "The Land of the Boys". Quartz from the Darling Scarp was also traded with Balardong groups for the making of spears. '

Guess the name caused a misunderstanding and therefore was deleted? This is a Very common type of name though !
I have no proof and wont claim to have, i will leave that to be decided .
Not sure why seeing it was a link and screenshot. I won't add a screen shot this time . The 6 min video again...

The area has been a site where many bodies were left over the years and a couple of murder suicides.

Kerryn Tate body discovered 1979
Barbara Western body discovered 1991(about 500m away from Kerryn Tate's body).
Kerry Turner 1991 (5 km south of Karragullen)
Jennifer Wilby 2002 http://www.fivemile.com.au/sites/default/files/extracts/Invisible Women_Extract.pdf

Debra Joy Donnachy 2004
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2004-04-10/police-identify-human-remains/168094
Michael Paul Pruiti 2013
"Major crime detectives were searching an area of land off Dayle Road when they made the discovery, and although formal identification has not yet occurred, police believe the remains are those of Mr Pruiti, who went missing in late October."
http://www.watoday.com.au/wa-news/human-remains-found-in-karragullen-20131214-2zdtn.html

The Copy Cat scenario may indicate that Karragullen could be a possible site. I am guessing only parts of Karragullen have been searched.

As we all are aware, it is possible that KT 1991 was abducted and murdered by the CSK.

33km directly east from Rimmer dump site is Eagle Hill Rd. Not sure if that helps.

Very pretty but Karijini is out Newman way...bit far for our CSK known stomping ground...
Not suggesting anyone is buried there, but to get ahead ... a clue?

It's popular for those taking the scenic route to Broome, and tourists. Closer to Tom Price but Broome residents think nothing of taking a 4wd trip regularly.

Wasn't it mentioned in Dave Warner's latest book?

Thx Glenis,

Are there any blue/red rocks within the Ashendon area (Jarrahdale State Forest)? 41.9kms south-east of Huntingdale.

41.9kms – Huntingdale to Eagle Hill Rd, Ashendon. Huntingdale to Eagle Hill Rd is assessable via backstreets (avoiding the residential parts of Albany Hwy).

Travelling via:Gay St, Southern River Rd, Ranford Rd, Armadale Rd & Albany Hwy (mainly rural acreage).
