One senses the distant drums of a caste of thousands... all in high heels, probably. Ladies flying in from Italy and Guam and the US to give evidence....,ladies from all over AU... a few zipping over from Auckland...
Worryingly, considering he is flying around in my tax paid for planes, he does not seem to be the sharpest knife in the drawer.... thankgod we have a Navy, I suppose...

Some bright spark could look back thru land titles.....It looks ideal for both their professions, really... .
Well, I went down that rabbit hole. Land title info you have to pay for. All I could find is that the property last sold in 2008 for $350,000 by private treaty.
From what I can see, properties along there are now selling in the range of $890,000. imo

Judging by his (dismissed) charges in Adelaide in 2012, it really could be anything I suppose.
I did find the other day that they lived in Pooraka while he was stationed in Adelaide. Can't recall which article it was in. Pooraka is not exactly a great neighbourhood (not swanky or anything), but it is close-ish to Edinburgh AFB. imo

He is bent, in so many ways that will become clear.. .....whatever he did (the charges give a tiny insight into some devious shenanigans that he thought was worth his time and career to pursue...)..the ADF got cross enough about it to take it to the criminal court.
That does require a heavy dose of outrage somewhere higher up the ranks than SQ.L.. someone got mighty peeved at Crawford .....

My thinking is that the Police may now have done something in regards to the house so he can't dispose of it.

Legally, he is not allowed to profit from his crime.. While the matter is under adjudication , the property would come under the auspices of the QLD Judicial system......once it's all over, the whole thing gets dispersed among the claimants.... this is hard on the kids, but this is how it goes..... I actually don't think he can liquidate anything at this point in time,.. his barrister would take a lien out on his half of the estate, but not hers...he can't do that.. .
I think he has severely overestimated himself.. . maybe , he's done that all his life, but he certainly, positively overestimated his capabilities this time around.... this whole episode is so cackhanded , so inept, so mediocre to a degree that is quite astonishing, in my opinion.

Gerard Baden Clay sold a Qld property that he and Allison owned, after he was in jail ... but not yet convicted.
He did it by taking her name off the property. Then he profited.
Family can't stop Allison Baden-Clay's secret property sale deal from going through

Gerard had an inside run, being a real estate agent.....apparently , he did it by proxy, some say Madame Lash assisted.......
The Supreme Court ordered on Wednesday that Mr Dickie be appointed as administrator of the estate until such time as Baden-Clay was found either guilty or innocent of his wife's murder. The decision means Mr Dickie would have to reapply to the court for a permanent order in the event of Baden-Clay being convicted of Allison's murder.
But, as things turned out, good old Gerard was found guilty, he lost administration of the estate upon that conviction and now spends his days in prison counting the threads on his T-Shirt instead of the dollars in his bank... oh well..!!!

I don't think they were ever able to get that money back though - from the sale of the Gold Coast property. Unfortunately. GBC wangled it out of her estate by getting Allison's name off it before his conviction.
Another annoying case of a killer getting his murder victim's share of the assets.

I wonder if thingy will try to blacken Frances name, the way Gerard did to Allison.
Hard to forgive the sister of Baden Clay, and her the wife of a pastor, too. Disgusting creature. Her diatribe in the witness stand was outrageous.

Police allege in court documents Mr Crawford interfered with his wife’s corpse by “moving a dead human body … without lawful jurisdiction or excuse.”

Another despicable man who thought he was entitled and so much better & smarter than everyone else.
RE the Lockyer Valley house, it will come down to whose name the property is in, if it is solely in RC's name, he most likely can do whatever he likes with it. Hopefully it is owned jointly and FC's family are onto protecting her assets.
Maybe she was not killed at the property at all. Perhaps he transported her body up there, late at night.......
