I don't know how long they lived on that property. Have we seen it anywhere? Can't remember.

Maybe they made a "tree-change" once the children were older. Toowoomba is considered a city, by Aussie standards. And the property isn't too far from there. 20 min drive.

And less than an hour's drive (google says 55 mins) to Amberley Air Force base.

Some bright spark could look back thru land titles..... :cool: It looks ideal for both their professions, really... .

I presume by now, Amberley Base has cut SQ .L. Crawford loose, to the tender mercies of those nice blokes at QLD POL... no doubt they have inspected all his telemetrics associated with the Base for any. ... um... 'discrepancies'..... people who are slack and dodgy in one area, are usually slack and dodgy in many areas...........He seems to be a man interested in his bank account, he may have dabbled in all sorts of nonsense that fed that account...

The only reference I’ve found to how long they may have lived there is from Frances’ ABN listing. It shows May, 2016 for the postcode for Lockyer Valley.

ooo that's a neat uppercut dished out by QLDPOL....often this charge is not laid down, ... soooo.. it's going to be a no holds barred event..!!!

He killed her, somewhere else than outside where her body was found.... then moved her to the embankment, and then wheeled the mower over to her.. or over her....

I went over it twice, because it is pretty easy being in alpha order. As you say, they were probably late in updating the list.

I wonder if he will be represented by a high flier, or if he has not yet sourced a lawyer of his choice.

I checked the Law List a few times this morning too, just to make sure he was on it :-)

I'm interested to see who is legal representative is as well ... in my past life I was a long time employee in the Brisbane legal world & it's a very small world :-)

I notice the Courier Mail article says that he was represented (for this 'appearance') by lawyer Andrew McGinness.
And that Andrew McGinness requested a minimum two-week adjournment.

The magistrate adjourned the mention until 25th October, and excused today's appearance.

It really ticks me off that he can use his deceased wife's assets (or portion thereof) to pay for his own defence for allegedly murdering her!!

Not to mention, their children's inheritance. They lose their mum, and her assets.

I wonder if QldPol can slap a restraint on the property, as was done in the case of the Greg Lynn trial in Vic.
 
I think we can dispense with the motor mower story at this point. The DPP in QLD has charged him with interfering with a corpse, and this implies, or infers ( for the pedants! ) that her body was relocated. It is possible to conjecture that she was not killed outside in the yard,,but her body taken outside after the murder. Or.. he killed her outside but not at the embankment, and nothing to do with the motor mower..

Anyway up, he interfered with her body after her death. People.. .. I ask you. What was going thru his tiny head?

You can put the family silver on McGinness tying up his fees, with adjustments for overruns , before donning his jabot and wig and taking on SQ/.L. Creepy' s case.. that would be the first cab off the rank in the McGinness Chambers....

unless the kids got in first and tied up the estate of their mother months back.. hopefully, they have, so Crawford is operating with only 1/2 the family estate....

Many a slip twixt cup and lip in these matters, though...
