Bit of an update from me.

Very close friends live in Peerless. For those not local to the area back in the days when housing was getting built and empty blocks it was a local hang out to meet up with people in cars, some unsavoury stuff, some naughty stuff etc. It is known to locals only that have been in the area for 15-20 years.

The last two weeks police have been in Peerless, had it blocked off and been rather busy bees!!! There is a laneway that goes to the laneway near the Ristevski house.
The interesting thing about that court is that neighbours cannot see from their houses into the court as the houses face front on to get views of the city with longish driveways and they've been built in weird ways. Friend spoke to police, don't think they're far off now but rumour has it perhaps KR was taken or went up that walkway up to Peerless and was either put on the car or got into the car.

Oh boy, thanks Mella ..... sounds like they've received new information re Peerless Street [emoji848] ..... I think they're about to pull a rabbit out of a hat

I was thinking about the re-creation driver's height yesterday. I think he gives the impression of being tall and lean, but that car is a very low car. So maybe he is not so tall after all?

I was also wondering about weight distribution, if that would have made any difference in the timing of the travel, the angle of the car on CCTV (not sure). I wonder if they tried to recreate the same potential weight in the car. Driver .. potential boot weight ...

So my thought on the testing is that they did the first run up to the shop purely to rule out that trip. Now they've done the "burial run" and hopefully it'll match up beautifully with the cell tower pings & CCTV from the day.

We can only hope right?!

I wonder if the car did two trips that morning?
Did they head off toward the shop initially, turned back to do whatever/forgot something/an intense argument was happening, then things escalated from there?

Borce may have only fessed up to the first trip, and not the second?

That dude in the re-enactment looks absolutely NOTHING like BR or VR..... this leads me to believe that it was a younger male driving Karen's car. AR, CR or maybe there is some truth to the "Italian BF" rumour!! :thinking: How they managed to get the car off BR after he supposedly took it for a drive, is where I get lost. Perhaps he never took it for a drive, maybe Karen took off in her own car to meet someone? I'm not surprised they haven't arrested anyone yet, they simply do not know who was driving Karen's car that morning. Even though BR has said he was, they must have witnesses and/or evidence that points to a younger male otherwise, why the younger dude in the re enactment? They're supposed to be trying to jog potential witnesses memories. :scared:

I find it hard to believe that driving her car around over a year later will jog anyones memory. Unless.... someone has purposely forgotten something and this reenactment with the timing etc jogs some memories. Like how BR remembered about the fuel gauge testing

I don't think this exercise was to jog witness memories. I think they are putting some puzzle pieces together and they don't want BR to be privvy to the exact details so they've just said that it was for that. But they DO want him to s#!t himself a little so they invited ACA along. The appearance of the driver has very little to do with anything IMO (except for maybe a bit of eye candy for the people here it seems :giggle

Thanks Grapey! I agree with what you think too. It's a great bunch of people in here, and a sense of humour is a must while we patiently (!) wait for an arrest...! Not long now Karen..
