I never thought a No. 1 suspect could decide not to speak to police. This astounds me.

Does this mean we'll have to wait for the inquest for him to be forced onto the stand under oath?
I'm honestly gobsmacked by this.

The old telephone book used to work!

That's where the saying came from "Book him Danno".

Also quoted as saying not like KR to go longer than a few hours previously when walking to calm down yet no contact with LE until a few days later to report her missing but maintaining that it was a loving relationship.

Thank you very much for your ongoing contributions here, Steve, they are much appreciated.

One minor correction, however, as this keeps creeping in again and again here in Karen's threads & is seldom corrected is that whilst Karen went missing on the 29th & the first media conference was a few days later on the following Saturday, Karen was in fact report missing on the 30th, the day after she went missing.

This is was posted on the Victoria police facebook site and their twitter. There were a few detailed discussions about this many threads ago, and there was no doubt that she was in fact reported missing promptly on the 30th.

A bit strange that this 'insider' who was close enough to kr and br to know the status of their marriage... yet didn't contact her, via a message form they have at least used on a few occasions, until after she was reported missing to police. Wouldn't you have expected to see a message on the 29th when sr was calling around and messaging people or at least on the 30th??

Yes she was reported missing on the 30th. But who by, is the question?

I will wait a bit em, it may take a while.

1 valium milkshake and 3 bourbons down. Up thread as Trooper remarked there are no winners which spoke volumes today.

Hope it didnt have any effect on you, and im not talking the consumables!.

If it had of been Wednesday, i could have been there.

I understand we can't say for sure who reported her missing, however given the police don't tweet and post on Facebook missing persons at the drop of a hat, they will have confirmed any report they received with Borce before going public.

Karen allegedly last sighted around 10:30am on the 29th would suggest nobody would report her missing until she fails to return home overnight. If somebody other than a direct close family member made a report on the morning of the 30th, the police would then have to follow up with Karen's close family before going public. To have that done & posted online the same day is awfully fast, unless the initial report actually came from Borce or Sarah in my opinion.

I'm by no means sure, but am leaning towards thinking that it was Borce and/or Sarah who made the report.

Take care of yourself, emirates. I imagine this would be a sad experience for you.

I just read through the last 50 pages or so of the threads, catching up.

The one thing that stands out to me is this ....

Sarah turned her back on detectives because she feared they wanted her to betray her dad.

When compared to this ....

BY all accounts, Sarah Ristevski was incredibly close to her mother Karen .....

I will never understand how any child can not cooperate with the police who are trying with all their might to get Karen's killer in front of the courts.
I have posted a ton of examples before of children who have helped the police, even when the killer is the father they love.

But this child, she refuses to assist the police, she goes off on an extended overseas holiday, she carries on with her life, with the knowledge that her father is the #1 person of interest.

So it is okay for her to obstruct justice? It is okay for her mother's murderer to walk around free? How can a person have any self-pride when they allow this to happen by behaving this way?

If her father is not guilty of this crime, if this is what she chooses to believe, then help the police, let the courts determine his guilt or non-guilt. Then the stigma will be removed from her life.

Sarah, this is NOT okay. You are an adult now. You need to stand up and do what is right.

Amalgam yes KR was reported missing by SR to Facebook friends of KR's. I have scrolled through the early media reports of KR going missing and the first report by police to the media I could find was 02 July. SR said she sent messages to all of KR's friends on Facebook which was substantiated by one named friend and an anonymous friend.
The named friend told BR that KR was probably cooling off and would more than likely return that night or the next. When she didn't the police were called in but no date or time as to that can I find to confirm an actual date or time.

As,reported by family and friends for KR not to come home or to go into her business was highly out of character which SR showed enough concern over to be unable to speak to the friend on the phone. Many family and friends were well aware of the situation by the following morning so if the police were advised that day of her missing there was no need to wait until two days later to advise the media and public. SR stated she contacted all of her friends on the 29th so why the wait to go public until the Saturday. They say the first 48 hours of a crime scene is critical to pursuing evidence for the investigation after that it becomes a much harder case.

Obviously as a,missing person case rather than murder it took a few more days to realise there was major concerns for her well been.

BR was reported by neighbours on the day asking if they had any CCTV of the street saying his wife had gone missing. BR showed enough concern to troll the neighbourhood like that so why didn't he inform the police at that time.

Just over three weeks later BR stonewalls the police and the only time he really put any effort into trying to find KR was to try and obtain any CCTV footage from the day and area.

That was a random question from the reporter asking "BR did you murder your wife" but maybe he was privy to a timeline that most weren't. The husband is always number one suspect but at the time the question was asked it did seem odd that it could be put to him based on the public known facts at that time.
I read the body language of both BR and SR when the question was asked but i bet there was someone there who can read body language backwards. LE and the
Media scratch each others backs so maybe they wanted the question asked.
I doubt that it was coincidence that VR was coming out of the bush at the same time as a news crew were entering it.

I think it was around 72 hours before LE were advised but that's,completely my own thoughts.

Just took a screenshot of the police twitter for KR, dated 30 June 2016, hope that clears up any confusion, just the plea for help at the Avondale Heights police station was a few days later [emoji4]
