+1 for thinking about this case lately (talk about late to the party).
I was 6 years old when these crimes happened but I have hunch, Bung Siyiboon is another victim of Mr Cruel.
There is a great blog (by a sleuther over in USA) put up around July/ August this year that goes into ALOT of details I didn't know of, such as all of the victims exact addresses, and all of the exact drop off addresses (as opposed to just the suburbs). A good read. What stands out most to me is the fact Mr Cruel knew Wills Father would leave the key in the hole on the inside. So he came planned with a tool and a piece of paper to collect the key once it dropped down to the paper when poked from the outside.
I garner 1 thing from that: He had been to the house before in one form or another. Either a tradesman, doctor, aquaintence, sports coach or a delivery driver. He also knew the girls name.
One of my lines of thought is perhaps the police have been barking up the wrong tree with Melb airport.
2 of the girls heard "jets". They were aged 10 and 13. Ok well we DO have another airport called Moorabbin, which is basically the same distance to the sites of abduction (a little less actually) as Melb airport. Now granted, Moorabbin is a smaller airport that does not have commercial major jets. But i looked up the stats history on aviation Australia, and that airport averaged back in 1998 250 flights per day of smaller aircrafts (stats before 1998 weren't available).
I am often near the area with work, around Cheltenham, and I see the low flying smaller planes go over regularly. They make a noise! I have heard them go over from inside a house in the Cheltenham area and it's pretty clear. They also come in to land at a much lower angles and their is houses in the vicinity of the flight path Is it possible the girls heard these engines from not from Melb Airport but Moorabbin airport? If this is the case, the areas for where the purp might live in this flight path would be: Dingley, Mordialloc, Braeside park/ Kingston, Parkdale, Mentone and Heatherton.
Food for thought anyway.
