A taxi, a government vehicle? What kind of plates would make you feel safe? Police, ambulance, fire brigade.

Bombala, Cann River and Orbost are well known logging areas and there are many forestry workers in the area. I wouldn't necessarily feel safe if I saw a forestry vehicle.

I'm struggling to think what vehicle fits this clue:
- White van
- "Respected" number plates
- Routine vehicle upgrades.

Without logos or other markings, just a number plate narrows it down to a government worker. Unless a Federal car, it wouldn't be hopping between Vic and NSW.

Taxi's would be hopping between states, more especially if they were based close to the border. Or perhaps a courier van. Irrespective, the plates on that type of vehicle wouldn't make me feel safe.

So it was New Year's Day (a Saturday) and a public holiday. The government department handling the registration of ABN's would have been closed. IMO the actual registration of the ABN was on Friday 31 December and the registration became valid from the 1st. January.

It was Saturday New Years Day never saw tfn ,saw card and abn open on lap top which was done in Melbourne unless he was going through it again .card was in his left hand .it was around 10 am.

So this was not DH/DM. This was the Vic man you're referring to? Does Vic man have an ABN that we can perhaps look at?

Why would someone set up an ABN in KPS's name with a Trading Name to do with mining? DH/M's ABN's Trading Names had nothing to with mining. Maybe its feasible that someone other than him did set up KP Exploration Drilling? It was active for over 4yrs & then cancelled after the suitcase was found. I just don't get the mining connection.

It may have been a shelf company that was purchased. Much cheaper than creating a new one.

SP is Sylvia Pajuczok. She disappeared from Bombala in December 2008 and is presumed to have been murdered. Wangarei mentioned that Vic man had worked in the Bombala area in December 2008 and I asked if she was inferring that he was involved in Syliva's disappearance. That doesn't seem to be the case. The police have a suspect for Sylvia's murder, they just don't have enough evidence to arrest him.
