Many of the newest comments on the fb page would seem to indicate it. IMO I guess it’s a pretty tricky situation and a lot of different factors to juggle and not surprising those relationships might start to fray under prolonged pressure (especially when you also factor in dealing with a commercial tv network not exactly known for its scruples).
But I think I speak for all when I say we all hate the thought of more stress and more layers of complexity for SL to juggle. Jmvho

Even Joni believed spotlight were very light on details , dates and places that could do with the exposure ..I am relieved though that i can now go back to never viewing spot light and the likes of them again ....there must have been an agreement between spotlight and podcast i would say ... if spotlight gave details the podcast would become irrelevant for some people to bother listening , its a ratings thing ...to them all ..IMO


The podcast was gripping but disturbing in so many ways ... and a lot to unpack .....

Did anyone note Evelyn said in spotlight that the police told her she was lucky she escaped him alive ...but in the podcast she said she had not been interviewed by the police ??

At about 47'30" in the podcast ep 51 ER drops an incidental comment that confirms something I have been wondering / assuming for years. As well as all the Australian passports in his different identities, she says RB has a Belgian passport.

This information here says you need a new passport for a name change in Belgium:

So maybe there is a very interesting file somewhere in the Belgian consulate in Australia.

This all means that any entry by RB into an EU country, and any travel between EU countries, will have been under the right of free movement and hence with minimal or no checking. This includes Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands and (at that time) UK.

Him having a Belgian passport was probably front and centre in the con, and a reason why Janet and Marion were persuaded that they could just up and move to Europe despite apparently having not applied for any visa to do so.

On finding the engagement notice they would have had to tender it as evidence for the inquest and legally may not have been able to tell Sally. haven’t finished the podcast yet though

I do agree the two pages are operating completely differently (and not really very well) at this point

There was always going to be others with him.
He was never a ione wolf. Ive said this many times.
The bank procedures indicated this way back.
Higgins. Childs.
He cant have carried off much of what he did without contacts.
Which is why he will never disclose what happened to Marion IMO.
MC, FR, his stepbrothers, Diane, their kids, Vernon, and more over the decades that have come and gone.

Yes, the podcast was absolutely gripping!

It was JO who said the police said she was lucky to have escaped AKA.

Re the bottle of wine. Maybe somehow he got hold of a document which showed he would cash out if she died.

Or maybe he thought he'd told her too much and if she drank from the bottle that would finish her off and shut her up.

I thought the reason he didn't turn up to dinner after she dropped him off at the women's house was to distance himself from the crime he was trying to commit, which was to poison her with the Champagne.

This guys is so so so sick and twisted what an absolute monster.

As for DH hanging up on her - cold as ICE.

If Everlyn did an ancestry test it would tell her if she was of Jewish decent, but I am sure the poor women has enough on her plate, the DNA tests can answer a lot but also open other cans of worms.

Why would he give her his home phone number lol.. it's like every so often he does the dumbest thing for such an established criminal.

I am not even convinced the police would have kept on pursuing RB in regard to MB had he not thrown himself head first into the mix by admitting he knew her, I think the police would have thought it was all to hard to prove had he not just turned up and handed them all they needed to make the link and connection without having to do the hard yards to prove it lol
