I am not even convinced the police would have kept on pursuing RB in regard to MB had he not thrown himself head first into the mix by admitting he knew her, I think the police would have thought it was all to hard to prove had he not just turned up and handed them all they needed to make the link and connection without having to do the hard yards to prove it lol

I have also questioned the purpose of AKA putting himself into the mix by changing his statement and admitting to an affair with MB.

There must be a reason? Which keeps me hopeful he was fearful the police had some evidence of his involvement/relationship, and if so, there’s something out there that could possibly nail him that forced him to create a storyline.

Also his concocted narrative of MB and the pilot. There’s a reason he confirmed the delivery of the tea chests to his home.

There must be someone out there who knows a lot more (apart from DdH) and he’s worried they’ll be found. It was in his best interests to put himself in the mix littered with BS.

100% agree - to quote the famous saying, 'it's not the crime, it's the cover up', Mr AKA pre-empts allegations with cover up stories. So where there's any story forthcoming from him, there's something being hidden. IMO

agree - it would have been killing him, not knowing what the police knew, thanks god he did go to them, I doubt the police would have put much effort into it otherwise. How many times do we hear, we have a good feeling on who did it, but we can't prove it and the person refuses to talk with us - RB fast tracked all the difficult part of the process for the police, there is no requirement for anyone to speak to the police, they can't force you, you only need to speak to them once they have arrested you, and they need evidence for that .. clearly, they don't have it, they haven't arrested him (yet) ... I don't believe they would ever of had enough evidence to arrest him had he not come forward, and now they have at least a chance to, all due to his own admissions. (What an idiot)

On top of all of that police could not publicly say who he was by name but he inserted himself so now we all know lol

Most criminals would have just taken the "prove it" approach, even in the face of hard evidence, they don't go inserting themselves into it.

we actual have to thank RB for been such a moron in regard to not understanding the law, we would still be in the dark if it wasn't for him, because the police may have had a hunch but it wouldn't be public, and he wouldn't have been at the inquest had he just of denied all knowledge.

Exactly! There’s definitely some records/link/person still out there yet to be found.

No doubt he would’ve realised the police would connect him to the GGB, the AVO - and likely question her. I still believe there’s something more out there to connect him further to MB.

My mum noted she was staying at the NOVOTEL (hotel) in Brisbane when she flew in on August 2nd 1997…’

Accor includes the Nikko Hotel in Japan - There’s also a Mercure Hotel in Tunbridge Wells (Accor) An Ibis and Novotel a Schiphol Airport, Amsterdam. Novotel at Tower Bridge, London - as further examples of MB’s locations.

They definitely keep membership records as I was a member in 1997. Since not rejoining I continue to receive calls from time to time with deals and discounts etc.

Imagine if there’s a trail?

as seen here on the passenger card from a NAA search and MBMP page

ACCOR members got discounted accom and free nights at any of their hotels. There was a booklet with all the discounts and even half price dinners.
MOO I bet he had an ACCOR membership in one of his aliases.

She stated she rang his number at a later time and because he had told her he had told his wife but not his children about her she assumed DDh would not be surprized to hear from her ...DDh response sounded like he either spun D a bs story or nothing at all and it also sounded like D had heard and had calls previous that she had to fob off IMO ....so where did Evelyn get his contact number from originally ? And yes why would he give her his home number ?

I think when you have no one you must long for someone, unless your adopted or an orphan I think it would be difficult to understand just how much slack you could give your only living relative. She also said she thought she was going mad, could this really be as bad and as twisted as she thought .. That is what RB does, so blatant with his BS that you think your the crazy one.

I don't question her motives, actions or reasoning for 1 second, nothing she did or said at any time was with any malice, just utter confusion and disbelief cause by RB - she has my utmost empathy and grateful she has come forward very brave.

It doesn’t sound like she was in a very good mental state. Also, based on how we have seen RB effortlessly manipulate the women around him I reckon she may have been a bit sucked in despite her fears

I am not necessarily questioning "her " motives but 10 years is a very long time and she did say she didnt want too and done so to placate her lawyer boyfriend ...just odd IMo ...my post was more so about the phone number and that particular call after so long , also odd that RB kept engaging with her , no doubt to find ways to use her in some way or another obviously ..
