DK was seen crossing the road behind MH on CCTV.

DK said he decided to quickly walk past his work to check he hadn't left the lights on as "I get yelled at if the lights are on".

Did he have a key because even if the lights were on he would not have been able to turn them off.

Maybe he is claiming he turned up Cheal Lane to check from the back which would account for him following Morgan to that point. imo

But that would not explain the DNA evidence in the room.

So six blood stains on the bag, and likely Kelsall was wearing it, which probably means it was clean on one side and not on the other.

Remember the CCTV vision that police were very interested in on Clark Road? I wonder if that can help to pinpoint Kelsall’s movements to show he likely got home much later than he says.

“A staff member at the Clark Rd newsagent said detectives were interested in all the vision from the night Mr Huxley was brutally murdered, sometime in the early hours of September 8.”

It seems to me that they have got to get him placed at/near the scene later than he says because, iirc, Dr Watson indicated that Morgan would have bled out within 20 mins if an artery had been cut (which we now know it was).
BBM - Yes I remember the CCTV vision around Clark Road area SouthAussie - Newsagent in Clark Road and Camperdown Cellars were mentioned.

SEPTEMBER 26, 2013: Police hope shop CCTV will identify the killer of Morgan Huxley
http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/ne...-of-morgan-huxley/story-fni0cx12-122672724349

It is understood police have information that the killer fled towards the Clark Rd shops and a local park after leaving Mr Huxley bleeding to death on his bedroom floor.

"An employee at the Camperdown Cellars just a few doors along from the newsagent said detectives had also visited his business yesterday to review his security vision.

“Something really weird is going on,” the employee said.

The set of shops is in the same area where up to 30 public order and riot squad officers carried out an evidence search last week. It is across the road from Anderson Park where officers spent hours last Thursday scouring through bushes and in public rubbish bins.

Here's a post I made back on thread #2 with a Google map link http://goo.gl/maps/WnbBw showing a route Kelsall may have used to get home from the Clark Road area. Of course he could have cut through Anderson Park at some point. I wonder if that water at the edge of the park was ever searched? imo

My post #817 - 0-13-2013
Also, regarding the Clark Road News/Anderson Park area that I've seen mentioned in MSM as a place of interest I've noticed that DJK residence is very close to the park. From Clark Road News to his home is 400 m, 6 minutes walk time. http://goo.gl/maps/WnbBw

"Homicide detectives returned yesterday to a set of shops in Neutral Bay, only a few blocks down the hill from the unit where Mr Huxley, 31, was stabbed to death more than two weeks ago."

This is the last picture of Morgan with his mates ... taken at the engagement party that night. :rose:

And this article says that Kelsall had been taking Seroquel when Dr Allman saw him in May 2012. I'm guessing that she maybe took him off it, if she was the doctor who thought he had been misdiagnosed?

Dr Allman told the jury she had a consultation with Kelsall on May 15, 2012 and discovered he had been taking Seroquel, a medication often prescribed to people with bipolar disorder.

The doctor said Kelsall revealed the “intrusive thoughts” after his mother Lynne left the room during the appointment.

“He had been having intrusive thoughts about killing people on the way home at night,” Dr Allman recorded in typed notes after the appointment.

Dr Allman said she understood Kelsall’s thoughts to be “repetitive and persistent.”

And that's it for today's news. Anyone would think that they just had one witness today. The reporting is very scant. :gaah:

Jury told that Crown case in trial of Morgan Huxley's accused killer Daniel Jack #Kelsall will finish tomorrow.

:what: But ... but .... we haven't heard anything very much! Have they nearly proved their case???

Tomorrow - gotta be joking.

As you said up thread this trial has been unusual.

Is he going to plead guilty?

Is it possible that DK was adamant he wanted to go on the stand against his legal teams advice? But now.... ???

I always thought it odd that his legal rep said DK will explain the damning evidence.

There is still the defence case to come. It is just the Crown that will finish tomorrow. It just doesn't seem to me that they have proved their case yet. But there has to be a whole lot of stuff that we haven't heard about, because we are not hearing a day's worth of evidence each day, that's for sure.

This should mean that Kelsall will be on the stand next week.

Oh I feel a bit stupid - I thought it was all over.

I hope the media give a better coverage in the coming weeks then because as you said it has been scant.

I am still surprised DK is taking the stand and I am so looking forward to hearing his version.

I think that evidence is getting suppressed in this trial. Remember when we found out that reporters had to wait a few minutes before tweeting court proceedings to see if the judge was going to suppress testimony? I think it was in Simon Gittany’s trial perhaps.

There may be evidence that they don’t want made public, for whatever reason.

“But under the system they will be required to delay any reporting of evidence or submissions for 15 minutes, in case something needs to be suppressed.”

(And don't feel silly, soso. We have all misread things at one point or another. Some of us at many points, even. :blushing:)

Thanks SA
I did not follow Gittany on WS.
GBC was my introduction.
I love reading everyone's views and comments.
I need to read more carefully though. lol

The police officer in charge, detective Sgt Mark Dukes was questioned by Mr Watson about documents from Optus which suggest MR Huxley's phone had active social media use when he was killed.

When he was killed does that mean before or after?

Mr Ucar said he did not know if MH met the women using dating site "Plenty of Fish"

Got a feeling this could be the social activity.
