It is indeed interesting (if these links truly represent VS) he calls himself a Computer Games Professional? What is that? Someone who plays Final Fantasy for a living? I think if you were an 'expert' at developing these games you would be using a different title such as Computer Game Developer or Tester. This is purely an observation but Computer Games Professional sounds a bit like Domestic Engineer for housewife.

I know people can play games for a living (hell youtube is full of them) but they generally don't moonlight as cleaners.

This case is eerily like the Jill Meagher case.

Both girls were missing a similar amount of days, the perpetrator drove a similar distance to bury the body, mobile phone tracking was used to gather evidence and information, both girls bodies found a few metres off a dirt road in a remote location.

No doubt the accused will have a sordid past too.

RIP Stephanie

Ms Scott's father paid a heart-breaking tribute to her and vowed to restore his "bright, bubbly and fun-loving" daughter's dignity.

Robert Scott mustered the strength on Saturday afternoon to stand side-by-side with his family, barely 24 hours after her remains were found.

Mr Scott told the Leeton community that his daughter had been taken away for a short time, but now the family had her back.

~~~~~~
As the family prepared to release yellow and gold balloons into the sky, a struggling Mr Leeson-Woolley painstakingly made his way to them, sobbing with every step and at one point howling.
Christ, this is getting too hard to read. I keep trying to imagine how Aaron must be feeling, and I think I would need to be sedated, either that or I would be catatonic. He's grieving so many things. His fiance, his wedding, his future.
I'm taking the back bench with theories for this case because there is something just niggling at me. I can't put my finger on it yet. Guess we will have to wait and see. Such sad photos. They really must be a strong family.
Trail bike riders found stephs body? I don't know how to link. I thought the mum and brother had taken them to the area?
My husband just found my wedding dress for me. He knew exactly where it was. I held it for the first time in nearly 19 years, then tied a yellow bow onto the coat hanger and took a photo. It's not much, but standing together is the first step is fighting against this violence against women. We should be able to run through the park, work at our desk and walk home from dinner with our friends without the threat of being raped or murdered.
Thanks fruity. I re read it and it says police trail bike riders :/
Same Froglady. It will all come out in the wash I'm sure. I keep waiting for a big revelation of some kind. Maybe it will never come. But I still feel a great sense of anticipation nonetheless.
The pics from today were lovely. God bless her family. Hearing about the way the town has come together is heartwarming but bittersweet.
I have no wedding dress and didn't wear yellow today as I own none (wrong colour for me) so I dressed my son in yellow instead.
Sleuth... ( I can hardly bear to look at your avatar!! )... He may have been very lucky.. no one saw Baden Clay hurl Alison over the bridge either. .. Some killers get breaks.. . I think people did see stuff, but don't know quite what they saw. I thought it was significant that no one in town had really heard of him, or knew him except the people closest in propinquity to him.. he didn't seem to be a socialising kind of bloke at all. Which, in a country town, requires effort, because against your will , people will drag you into things and up for things.. He seems to have gone under the radar not just on this day, but for some time.
A pleasure reading your posts Trooper….do you think that he may have done this before? I wonder if there are any other unexplained murders in the area ? It doesn't make financial sense for him to be cleaning on Sunday…..upon saying that what on earth went down/motif to murder this beautiful young women?
Yeah the cops around here where I live have dirt bikes, so they can patrol all the bush. Lots of stuff going on in there they couldn't check out any other way.
I've been lurking on this thread for a few days, and kept trying to catch up before I commented.
What a tragedy this case is. I'm feeling so sad today. I'm wearing bright yellow and my wedding dress is hanging at my door too. This one has really hit home.
I just read her sister's poem to my family - the poem she wrote was just so heartfelt and joyful- I couldn't read aloud the last part as we were all too emotional so we had to read it silently.
This ugly man will NEVER understand what he destroyed. Selfish and cowardly -rotting in a jail hell hole is his destiny!
Well Liadan, we can hope so, but with the wacky point of view some judges seem to take on these things, who knows how long the perp will be rotting for.
That's what I was thinking with the house possibly being up for sale? He was desperate and as someone said in here could have been stealing from the school and confronted by Stephanie?
I'd be very surprised if he is involved in games development. Most games these days involve significant teams of writers, designers, graphic designers, developers, marketers, testers, etc. They aren't something one does from out in the sticks whilst working on the side as a cleaner. Obviously one could telecommute, but my experience (20 years developing software and leading development teams) has been that most development is done in an office with everyone in close proximity. I guess he could be developing iPhone Apps or somesuch, as it is pretty easy to develop basic games as a sole developer (and basic games can occasionally do quite well).
