Now that we have more information about VS and some of the evidence tendered at court yesterday, some clever WSleuthers uncovered this content fairly early and informed msn:

Stephanie Scott death: the fantasy life of murder accused Vincent Stanford
by Rachel Olding, Nick Ralston, April 2015.
Digital traces left by the 24-year-old in at least four computer forums reveal that he spent most of his time in front of a computer, usually playing military-themed computer games or developing his own programs.
"Mr Stanford maintained a secret online life, hiding behind fantasy characters"
"... ScareGame, a first person shooter set in the "lonely sewers" beneath London.
The game was to be based around a character, Nigel, who spends his time "torturing innocent victims" including "three young, ripe subjects" walking down a "desolate alleyway unprotected and completely unaware that they are being watched, hunted."
The 'watched' and 'hunted' is concerning IMO. Was SS his intended victim? Was she 'watched' and 'hunted' by him?
It appears he prepared to strike his victim unawares: feeding his secret fantasy life with *advertiser censored*, purchasing a knife, a sword, flexi-cuffs and viagra in advance. So he shows evidence of planning, organising; he anticipates resistance; his planned actions would be against the will of his intended victim.
This is poignant now given what evidence was tendered to court yesterday. Hypothetically speaking, it appears that he has acted out his secret fantasy life on his victim, capturing her unawares, depriving her of her liberty, cuffing her, torturing and violently raping (aggravated sexual assault)then murdering her in secret i.e. while he was alone. His mother and brother had gone away that weekend.
