'Women who are cynical enough to see the psychopath’s mistreatment of others yet gullible enough not to see that’s exactly what he’s doing to them constitute his preferred targets. Such women are not so naive as to present no challenge whatsoever for the psychopath. But they’re definitely blind enough to fall for his manipulation and lies. A psychopath will wrap several such women around his little finger.'

Bouncing off that.....many, many years ago I remember reading an excellent book Men Who Hate Women And The Women Who Love Them......a good read for men and women who fall for these sort of personalities.

Oh yes, it's a great book. Also good general reading on this topic can be found in M. Scott Peck's 'People of the Lie' and Martha Stout's 'The Sociopath Next Door'.

'Any interview would need to be carefully thought out or it could cause further irreparable damage to xxxxxx'x public reputation :floorlaugh:, Jon Michail, group chief executive of Image Group International, said.

"He's going to have a hard time because even though he's been acquitted a lot of people will feel he's guilty," Michail said.

"But are there opportunities to rebuild his image? Absolutely, if he packages this right." [ya think? Good luck with that, Jon!]

Michail, [...] said xxxxxx could consider a book deal or some kind of public speaking role [*shudders*], but only on the proviso that he presents a clear, very particular, message.

That message, Michail said, needs to be a kind of "fair dinkum" soul searching; there would need to be compassion and sympathy for Ms Wright's family. [Yes, we've seen an example of this particular brand of compassion in MSM today.]

"He has to face the mirror and ask himself questions about how he got himself into this situation. There's a possibility he can use this experience to make a difference to other young people." [He's 30 FFS...hardly young and I wouldn't want him anywhere near the young people in my family; especially the young women.]

Michail told nine.com.au he would have advised xxxxxx to attend Ms Wright's funeral, a move he admitted was controversial and contrarian.' [wut? You are kidding?]

'Max Markson, the Sydney agent who worked with Bachelor contestant Blake Garvey, once dubbed Australia's most hated man for his reality TV indiscretions in 2015, believed xxxxxx should keep a low profile.

If xxxxxx made a TV appearance "he'd probably do himself more damage than good," Markson told nine.com.au.

"The smartest thing he can do is keep his head down and move on," Markson said, even if that meant moving abroad.

"I don’t think he'll get a fair hearing from any media outlet in the world," he added.' [This from someone who has limited damage control for some highly controversial Australians. I'm with you, Max].

'A human tragedy': Experts divided over which path xxxxx xxxxxx should take

'And where are the clowns?
Quick, send in the clowns

Don't bother
They're here'

Again fml...

Just waiting for someone to go a step too far in their denigration of Warriena. Then I hope that Warriena's family slap a lawsuit on them.

Do you know if an a civil action for slander and/or defamation can be brought on behalf of a deceased person?

If not, I think the xxxxxx trolls know this; otherwise they would be too cowardly to even attempt it.

I can see the $ value for an interview with xxxxxx dropping by the hour.

The only way I think he'll get one now is by filing suit against a media company for defamation and agreeing to settle in exchange for an interview done his way.

We shall see...

I looked at this a bit earlier, in the last thread. And came across this.

There is, however, provision for the relatives of a dead person to sue for defamation on their own behalf if they are defamed by what you say about their dead relative.
http://www.thenewsmanual.net/Resources/medialaw_in_australia_02.html

So, I think they need to step carefully that anything they say is not also defaming Warriena's surviving relatives. As Warriena was extremely close to her sister, and spent a lot of time with her enjoying pranks and socialising, they may need to be very careful how far they go in some of their wild claims. And as her mother is a church deacon, they may need to step carefully about any moral judgements - particularly to do with her upbringing or history.

Thank you SA. That's comforting to know.

Didn't take long to get back to social media ? Doesn't look at all like the person who fronted up to court each day ?

I suspect he was never off it. Yeah, the costume and attitude change is amazing; isn't it?

LIsten brahs...That woman is a solid Pi(3.14)...which is why hungry GT must like her so much! Seriously, if they wanted this behind them and to move on happily they wouldn't be posting this junk. Some women will cling to anyone with a shred of fame or notoriety because they lack self worth. It's disturbing, and in many cases sad. But this isn't sad, it's disgusting.

I think the current press is because they've been rumbled - not because they've volunteered any information.

Stay tuned - this should be good

Massive damage control fail brah.

This reminds me of Gittany's girlfriend, I forget her name...just loved the media attention of being the self-appointed "one who understands him/one who is going to save him". Made herself the laughing stock of Australia, before being forgotten, and as I understand it, as soon it was no longer newsworthy, they ceased being a couple, so what was that really all about...

On a more serious note, I am very disappointed by the verdict. I cannot understand how the accused was found not guilty, of anything.... The way I see it, he was responsible for Warrienna getting totally intoxicated on his homebrew, he was responsible for her being locked on the balcony, he was responsible for her state of fear as evidenced by her screams on the audio tape, and responsible for not allowing her to leave with her belongings when she asked him to. He was responsible for her being unable to call for help as he had withheld her phone without her permission. He treated her with utter contempt, used her for his amusement and then tossed her on the balcony like a piece of trash. He couldn't even be bothered to call for help when he realised that she had fallen over the balcony. I think that just sums it all up really, how little regard he had for her. And quite frankly, the justice system treated her with the same contempt as far as I am concerned. One can be forgiven for thinking that the judge just wanted to get rid of this case (given the lack of evidence that was allowed and the directions to the jury) and that he didn't think the victim, being a random female Maori tourist, was worthy of a white Aussie male wasting his life in a jail cell for. JMOO, for what it's worth....

Her name is/was(?) Rachelle Louise and, I sgree this current 'relationship' has startling parallels with the one between her and SG.

Even Blind Freddie can see that the responsibility for Warriena's death belongs to one person and one person only; no matter how deftly the 'facts' were manipulated by the justice system to favour the accused. In a nutshell, the verdict and the circumstances by which it was arrived at, simply don't pass the 'sniff test' IMO.

Just for clarity..pi or no pi....I'm absolutely not related!

From memory Rachelle Louise was going to become a lawyer to save her chosen one. Bahahaha

Bohemian, can you tell me please how to abbreviate a link? I.e. Your Rachelle Louise link (as shown in blue on the post) is short whereas if I linked it would show a link a mile long?

Isn't it lovely how the media are now showing video of Tostee laying back, relaxed, looking at press about himself on his phone .... while Warriena lies elsewhere ... never to lay back, relax, and look at her phone again. :(
