Everyone here uses the fact he was bigger and stronger against him continuously.
Notice how he didn't beat her up? He didn't knock her out. Notice how he didn't grab something and beat her to death? Notice how he didn't grab a knife or something sharp and stab her to death? Nor did he strangle her to death. He didn't even throw her off the balcony when he had the chance.
What did he do? In the middle of the chaos, he grabbed her, escorted her outside, and closed the door behind him. When dealing with someone out of control, like with someone suffering from a mental illness, it is called "de-escalation".
When he closed that door, did he think for a second that she would go over the balcony? No? So where was the intent to kill her? Did he shove her somewhere that no one could find her or she would not be able to summon help? No? So where is the intent to forcibly confine her?
