“A lot of them have moved,” he says. “One bloke left (Benaroon Drive) because he felt intimidated by the police. He had a few problems. He wasn’t a crook or a bad bloke, just a bit of a loner. He wanted out.”

It sounds like this former resident of Benaroon Drive could be a POI? IMO
First thing I thought of was the house with the TV and plants on the floor......I know it has been discussed several times but I cannot recall, Did that home go up for sale before or after William went missing?

That house was listed for sale on 4 November 2014. It sold in June 2015.

Hmmm... Different info on different sites! onthehouse.com.au says it was listed on 4th December 2014 and sold 10th July 2015

Yes I saw that after I posted. LOL. Either way, it was listed not long after William disappeared and apparently the vendor wanted a quick sale.

ETA: The vendor may have in fact listed the house on the dates mentioned but with different real estate agents. The sale date is confusing though.

From memory, it was on and off the market for some time.

Good question. I wonder how well Col may know AJ, PB, and the rest of them. Are they/were they friends?

Yes, that would be an interesting line of inquiry. Six degrees of separation.

Bad Reporting :shame:

As the second anniversary of William's death nears, NSW Premier Mike Baird has promised to provide police with any resources' necessary.

Thanks for the link, sleep. FFS!

Also, since when did police name KL publicly as a POI? Although I must say her relationship to AJ and BS, and with NC, does not sit right with me at all.

'Since William vanished, police have publicly named five persons of interest they have interviewed – including convicted paedophiles William Spedding and Tony Jones, as well as the best friend of William's grandmother, Kim Loweke.'

'Ms Loweke has personal connections to both Spedding and Jones, a coincidence she admitted was strange, but denied having anything to do with William's disappearance.'

'All have denied abducting William.'

Yeah me too and, yes, it did. From memory; up for urgent sale by end of 2014 and sold mid 2015.

Since when is William Spedding a convicted paedophile?

I was also wondering about KL being named a POI. The connections she has to others in this case is very unnerving!

Police said they want to talk to hundreds of people about William Tyrrell

Officers have recruited detectives from other stations to help investigate

A police strikeforce, codenamed Rosann and consisting of 14 detectives and analysts, is working full-time on the search for William from a base in Port Macquarie, 35km from Kendall.
Given the scale of the operation, which has focused on people with links to the former timber town or William, it is possible detectives have already interviewed the person or persons involved.
Such is the workload that other detectives from several specialist squads within the NSW Police Force’s State Crime Command have been asked to investigate many persons of interest identified as low-priority targets by the strikeforce. The rest are being pursued by Rosann investigators.

Low priority targets.... which specialists units will be investigating them I do wonder?

Roseann will pursue the rest......and just how many is the rest?
