DM has two profiles on FB. The second ( the oldest one ) has his name in reverse. (Ie. MD instead of DM). On that profile it lists who he was married to in 2010. On her profile her older son commented yesterday about DOCS and the kids and someone else has commented 'it's on the news now'

He actually has 3 accounts

Well they might take DNA of everyone they look at in case later down the line if they do find a body which has someone else's DNA on it they can make a quick match .. all of this just sounds like normal procedure to me, except for the part where they named BS in the media and told everyone he was the focus of the investigation.

Thanks! That's what I figured but wanted to make sure I hadn't missed anything important

WHEN are we going to get a public sex offenders registry. :tantrum:

For complicated legal reasons, the three-year-old’s family has never been named but a family friend described William as a “happy, cheeky, adventurous” boy.

While the family history must *remain a mystery, they had driven from their home at Killara on Sydney’s upper north shore to the mid-north coast for what was meant to be a few relaxing days in Nana’s comfortable home close to the bush.

Just thinking. Did the police find evidence at the caravan park to give them a warrant for the Laurieton unit, and did they find evidence at the Laurieton unit to give them a warrant for the house?

I just wonder why the places were searched in that order? Surely the forensic testing couldn't have been completed that quickly. Either way, they haven't found anything to arrest WS.

Does anyone else find it strange that MSM report "at least" 3 grandchildren? Why at least? Are there sometimes more? Why not just "three grandchildren".

Police end search of 63-year-old washing machine repairman's house in William Tyrell case - but will spend weeks analysing evidence at forensic lab

Excavations from the burn-off pit, material from the septic tank and three paper bags of items taken from the rooms under the house will now be forensically examined and tested, a process that is expected to take weeks.

No charges have been laid and police said the investigation was just 'one line of inquiry' and part of 'normal police procedure'

I wish the govt would put more money into education or some sort of intervention before this happens. Obviously the solution is not to treat the problem after it happens, but prevent it from happening in the first place.

Education-wise, this is exactly what Gonski was all about. Schools are on the front line of helping the next generation, not just for maths and english, but for social behaviour and identifying issues. And Gonski specifically identified that there were many, many schools on the outer that needed a boost. Schools that did not benefit from a wealthy (and healthy) demographic, and were struggling.

Unfortunately the current government resisted Gonski at every turn. "User pays" models for public infrastructure are a scary thing, in my opinion. Also models that rely on commercialisation of schools and colleges are equally scary, since commerce only goes to where the money is being spent. Kids that need help lose out. I understand how people get angry with people not working, or people not looking after themselves properly... but the future will only be worse if we walk away from the children of these people.

If anyone sees anything actually incriminating on FB then maybe take a screenshot. Not sure I've read anything on here that's more than just days-of-our-lives.

It's understandable to feel that way. But I think in reality there are quite a few lower-socioeconomic Australians on Facebook who vent their cranky frustrations.

GAA! Not sure if it's me... Or my equipment 😳
For the life of me my Facebook sleuthing has gone down the drain!
I can't seem to access BS FBPg 👿

*we actaually flew from Melb to New Castle then drove to Port Macquarrie the day William vanished ( cheaper to do it that way ) was surprised my MIL for her 70th birthday.
I remember very early on in the investigation that Williams family TOO surprised his grandmother with a visit..... only bringing g this up as she may not have mentioned to BS that her family was coming up from Sydney?

there was a flat above the pawn shop where they removed the mattress from, and possibly the computer, wondering if anon lived there?
is it possible he was williams bio as someone suggested, and if so did speddo tip him off william was going to be visiting gma, and he took william there and then to the house in bonny hills while parents away and the little boy had an asthma attack with the stress and dust from being hidden under the house?
or did anon meet williams bio in prison and get talking about docs situation and arrange for an abduction but it all went wrong with above scenario?
also could williams grandmother have met ms in hospital and she recommended her husband to fix the washing machine and they chatted about the family visit etc?
i realise we arent allowed to talk about the complicated family history so trying to be careful here

Is it too much of a coincidence that the foster parents have a family (grandparents) home so close to a biological parent?

Also wondering how Anon would of known WT would be at the grandmothers house. WS never saw him on the day he decided he needed to order a part for the machine, since WT was not at the house. So if it wasn't via WS, I don't see how Anon could be prepared for WT being in town, unless there is actually some extra connection here between the two groups.

We seem to be expecting Anon to be something more than he is, based on common garden-variety angsty Facebook shares :)

Small towns .. everyone knows everything about everybody .. call it bush telegraph or whatever, people in the next town know what you're planning for dinner before you've even decided.

Very possible GM mentioned something to the repair man on Monday like - I've got to have my machine fixed by Friday because my family are visiting with their 2 children.

Very simple and very possible

I wonder which car WS took to meet his wife for coffee and go to the school event? It is said that 3 cars were seized. Could someone other than WS have driven to Benaroon Drive that morning in a car owned by WS? Someone must have told WS or someone associated with WS that the boy was visiting. Yeah, totally possible that grandma mentioned the visitors in relation to getting the washing machine fixed.

WS must have called the grandmother after WT went missing, for her to say it was not a good time to come around.

But again, this was said to be a surprise visit to Kendall so
Who would have known he was going to be there in the first place? I honestly don't think the two families are connected in any way. I think someone has called crimestoppers to make trouble for this family, or they knew or heard about him going to fix the washing machine and genuinely thought he was involved. If you live in Kendall, would it be normal for someone from Bonny Hills to come and look at your broken washer? Is it far away? I don't know the area at all.

A strange car in town would have been enough of an alert to get the bush telegraph buzzing, if there is someone on the street who is a busy body, if Williams mum or dad went into the local shops at all, drove up the main street even, got petrol, cigarettes, anything .. etc .. Grandma could have said something to someone she plays bowls with .. or just someone she knows .. and on and on it goes .. also there is still the possibility that the crime was just opportunistic and any connections are simply coincidental.

Also the towns are close, I think it was about 10km to Laurieton, then another 10 or so to Bonny Hills .. so really not long distances to travel at all, and you'd consider all of that area local.
