It is the kids I feel bad for, too. They didn't ask to be brought into this craziness, and no child deserves it.

The adults can do as they wish. If they don't want to get help, don't want to use our social services, there is not a lot we can do about it. But their kids don't deserve to live in that kind of environment.

Wonder why she has never had to go to court ordered anger management classes and therapy?

Totally agree, Dr.

There are lots of support systems for people who need help to try to change their lives, but you have to be ready to accept that support and to WANT to change. 12 years is a long time not to want to change.

Particularly when claiming you want to get your other children back. Why would you whilst, pregnant with another child - do the things KT did.

That is why i stated about it being court ordered, so she has no choice but to get that type of help and therapy. From what she stated in her interview she has no one to support her, and pretty much keeps to herself. Sad for a person so young to feel that way, IMO.

Court ordered or not. You have to want to help your self.

You would think that having two of your children removed from your care would be enough to clean your act up, but nope, not for Karlie who went onto have another two kids & to keep on repeating the cycle.........:shame::gaah:

The saddest thing is that her gorgeous young children have not been incentive enough for her to get help, and stick with it.

I got the impression from her interview that she was implying William was taken away because of domestic violence issues. 2 babies later with the same guy ....

Two of the assaults she has been found guilty of were against female police officers.

Now aged 29, Ms Tyrrell’s record for violence goes back to 2006, when she was 18 years old, documents obtained by news.com.au reveal.

During one assault in 2010, she punched a police officer in the face while celebrating her 22nd birthday.

William was removed from his mother’s care two years later and then in September, 2014 he disappeared while playing at his foster grandmother’s home at Kendall, on the NSW mid North Coast.

His abduction sparked Australia’s greatest manhunt and is an ongoing investigation by the NSW Homicide Squad’s Strike Force Rosann.

Ms Tyrrell’s next serious conviction, for assault occasioning actual bodily harm, common assault and destroy or damage property, occurred in early 2014, six months before three-year-old William disappeared.

Ms Tyrrell was sentenced in Parramatta Local Court in August, 2014 over the three charges and placed under community supervision by the NSW Probation and Parole Authority.

I think that sobbing interview was (for Karlie) all about pointing the blame for everything toward other people. For William's removal, for William's disappearance, for William not being found yet, for her own angry and criminal behaviour. And of course it touched the heartstrings of many people.

But now that the truth is coming out, it is plain to see that she was at least equally involved in the domestic violence.

We knew that Karlie must have had great transgressions, for the children to be removed from both parents. Now it is becoming crystal clear.

Yep and she said there needs to be support for domestic violence so as you can leave.:facepalm:

Tyrrell said it wasn’t safe for her children to be around their father Brendan Collins, who was jailed last month, and she thinks there should be better support for family violence victims.

“It wasn’t working and my kids come first, so I had to leave ... I don’t want him in their life,” she said.
