OFF TOPIC.... I know this goes against empowering women and reducing negative behaviours..... but.... Jubes has been looking mighty fine this week; calling it as I see it!

EDIT.. apologies in advance...

My mum drove past the courthouse in Taree this week and saw him and the media circus out front of the court. Asked her if she flicked him my number! No go! lol

She said it was pretty crazy in the street with cameras etc

actually imo i think hes not clear yet and is still my no 1..mainly because who leaves an old sick lady without a fixed machine knowing she has family arriving..that to me i cant shake
I don’t understand how he can set the wheels in motion for sueing anyone until inquest findings are released, he hasn’t even been questioned or testified yet. To our knowledge anyway .

Why isn’t he suing over the allegations against the young girls. Not asking you interested ! Just jumping off your post. Was he not as confident in that case

If I was the young girls (now women) I would be suing him. Civil cases are so different from criminal cases.

The burden of proof in a civil case is that it is 'more probable than not that the allegations which [he/she] makes are true'.
As opposed to a criminal case where the burden of proof is 'beyond reasonable doubt'.

At least then the girls/women could have some sense of justice, as I feel that they would win a civil case ... judging by what we have read.

And maybe they are suing him civilly. Who knows? Maybe that is why he is suing everyone in sight, he may owe them a big heap of money, for all we know.

1.5 Burden and standard of proof

I think it is all bluff and fluff from his lawyer.
If he keeps putting stuff like this out there, it may permeate people's minds so they think he had nothing to do with William's disappearance.
I believe that is yet to be determined in the eyes of the law, judging by the two witness statements so far. And who knows what else may be yet to come.

I am still looking at this Google streetwalk image. I think this is the clear line of sight.

What if William ran to the driveway (either the main driveway or the dirt one) and was standing there waiting for his FD to come home. I think that Savage would have been able to see him.

Little children don't necessarily know where roads lead, so William may have just gone to the driveway area where he knew his FD would pull up in a little while - maybe peeking out on the road to see if the vehicle was coming.

I wonder if he was told by FM or FGM that FD would be home very soon.

That’s a pretty good view. I didn’t know there was a dirt drive and a proper drive. Which is it in the photo?

I meant if William went to the main driveway or the dirt driveway of FGM's house.

The dirt driveway is the little one you see before the main driveway in this pic.

I believe that there is a clear line of sight from Savage's patio to this area.

Yes PS has a pretty clear view up Benaroon towards the fire trail and FGM driveways. But GJ has implied many times WT ran down the slop towards Benaroon. Going by the photo I uploaded it's clear PS doesn't have view of that side of FGM house. So why was GJ so adamant that he ran down the side of the house and not towards the front where driveways are located

Just curious as to what your theory is, CC?

I don't think he was adamant, was he? From my recall, we presumed that ourselves - from where Jubes was standing when he went on the walk along Benaroon and spoke with The Australian journo.

William did run around the side of the house. I don't think that anyone knows for sure where he went from there?

If William went to either of the driveways, waiting for FD, Savage could have seen him from his patio - and Spedding could have seen him, if he went there that morning.
I mention the both of them as they are the two that concern me the most, at the moment.

Nobody knows whether he ran towards the driveways or to the side of the road. I'm saying in my own words that GJ was adamant of the direction WT went via all the info coming out of the inquest. Laura Beacroft agreed PS didn't have a clear view of what GJ had put forward to PS.

"He wouldn't have had a clear line of sight," Mr Savage's lawyer, Chris McGorey, said to Det Sgt Beacroft.

"Yes, I agree," she replied.

Mr Jubelin also told Mr Savage "the direction William was last seen heading ... was the direction right towards where you were sitting on the balcony having your toast".

Mr McGorey said this was another assertion not based on fact as police "simply didn't know what direction (William) went".

Mr McGorey said with the benefit of hindsight, questions put to his client should have been hypotheses rather than assertions because they effectively suggested detectives knew something to back up what they were saying.
