I think William’s life experiences would have made it easier for a stranger to take him & get him into a car. In his short life he was already exposed to so many people.
His visits with his bio father were infrequent, not a solid figure in his life. He had visits with his Mother & little brother. He had case workers accompany his visits, they may have even escorted the children to & from some of those visits - my nieces & nephews from an estranged sibling are in foster care & they are driven to visits by the case workers on occasion - he also went to daycare, IMO it was not uncommon for William to find himself in the presence of strangers or people estranged to him & in the situations I have mentioned above, he would have been encouraged to be comfortable with these (to him) strangers, of course that is vastly different to being plucked off of the lawn of your Grandmother’s house & thrown into a vehicle, but I can see a situation where he was lured away.
Yes, I can, too.
William is described as a shy 3-year old. I don't imagine he would make a fuss. Not many 3-year olds would make a fuss if someone confidently took them away. imo
They may get a little tearful, be a little quiet and uncertain ... but just promise to show them a puppy, buy them some lollies, take them to see Spiderman in person, and the abduction gets that much easier.
After watching that walk through, i dont understand how he could see so much detail of the driver from where he was standing on his verandah, it seems he did not see first car until it was virtually opposite him, so he never saw driver front on and she wasnt even on the side he could see. His eyesight and recall must be remarkable, and then not only did he get details of female driver he got very detailed description of passenger. he only walked a few steps more before his attention turned to second car.BigT has linked a quite comprehensive walkthrough with Mr Chapman here ... longest one that I have yet seen.
One thing that stands out to me in the almost 9min video is that quite a number of cars go up and down his street. It is certainly not one of those side streets that gets very little traffic. Even a ute pulling a trailer with large equipment on it whizzed by as they were going through the walkthrough.
My point being that if it is a regular cut-through used by locals, it is very possible that it is someone local who whizzed by that day and drew Mr Chapman's attention.
what type of places are the visits at,as im sure i have seen pics of William and his sister playing on a driveway with their brother riding a bike, would they have home visits with their bio mum ?I think William’s life experiences would have made it easier for a stranger to take him & get him into a car. Yes it’s a shame they didn’t ask her what “shopping” she did??? Eg if she could answer that specifically..... like exactly what she bought... where she went etc .... it was a very general answer that wasn’t explored on tape... sadly...
The term “co- dependant” is what I first thought on first watching the tape ....
IMO
Receipt for the shopping & store cctv.
Yes, and he described it as seconds and then the 2nd car came whizzing around the corner - with his back already being to the 1st vehicle.
He could clearly describe the driver of the 1st vehicle, down to the bow in her hair. But he couldn't clearly see the 2nd driver, not even the colour of his hair. And he had more time to see him as he saw that car as it was coming around the corner.
Receipt for the shopping & store cctv.
The drivers were on the opposite side being right hand drive vehicles.
Yes surely they checked this and eftpos transactions etc .... but who knows????
Would be good to know if there was a triangulation of evidence for the rest of the day...
I do find it strange as ? Dr Sleuth pointed out ... about being unable to remember what car she used??? IMO
I can only imagine that the position of the windscreens made the difference in being able to see both of the drivers.
The Land Cruiser's windscreen is more vertical, the car's window may have been more sloped. Mr Chapman did say that the angle of the sun at that time of the morning made the light bounce off the 2nd vehicle.

SA we’ve come a full bloody circle from first thinking he was lost, abducted by loved ones, then abducted by one of the 1000’s of Pt. Mac pedophiles now back to a woman taking him.
Imagine the pain his mums and dads are feeling.

Completely agree SouthAussieBBM: It was 'probably that one'. Just as everything else was 'we usually did this, we usually did that' 'I don't remember where we sat, probably somewhere here (outside)'.
It was as if she didn't want to commit to anything, in case she said the opposite to her husband.
Yep I agree and as I said earlier which surprisingly no one picked up on was the re-enactment from the scenario in laurel drive that dayI’m skeptical on his whole account. Especially since the police have known for a while & never released any details asking the public for assistance. When they have asked previously!!
I’ll reserve my thoughts on what I really think about this sighting at this time.
