Here's an interesting article about the work that the NSW Sex Crimes squad do. There's some stuff in there that I recognise them doing in William's case. Seizing laptops, looking at car models and number plates, looking at plants in photographs and narrowing down search areas (I don't know if plants were looked at in William's case but it's possible.

Just a warning that there's some uncomfortable reading in the article.

the NSW Sex Crimes Squad, is expected to be good at what it does: the state’s worst cases come here and they’re often solved; this squad has a conviction rate of more than 90 per cent of cases that make it to court. http://m.theaustralian.com.au/life/...ld-sex-offenders/story-e6frg8h6-1227078787836

Amazing article, thanks Angeline. I don't know how these police do it, especially those who have children of their own. It opens your eyes to the harrowing work police and other LEOs do day in and day out without public recognition.

The Speddos Hire and Speddos Pawnbroking and Loans are still current. ASIC business name search is down for maintenance this weekend, so I can't search there.

So the office to do with the pawn broking not the appliance repairs ???
I recall seeing a washing machine wrapped in black plastic at the house in one of the photo's.

No address for the appliance repairs I can see, looks like it's a mobile service only.

Other than the topics we can't speak about here, what are the handful of other possibilities?
We've covered known persons, neighbours, mailman, delivery drivers, wild dogs and barren women.
Please help me out?
How about a similarity to James Bulger case? Does anyone know if that angle has been looked at?

I wondered about that too.....I was under impression that some students were 'free' that day and wondered if there had been a mishap involving older kids on bikes....MOO

Wish we could ask the parents some questions:

Even though William was not a child prone to wandering, was there anything that might have attracted his attention or that he may have gone to see or do?

Dogs; horses; kangaroos; motor bikes; birds; cats; gold fish; trampoline; swing; slippery slide; were there other children in the neighbourhood he had played with previously; was there anything he was particularly fascinated by? Did he know anyone in the neighbourhood from an earlier visit?

Hopefully LE have also asked these questions.

Or he is just a POI because he may know something, they think he may know something or his alibi doesn't check out. As we know being a POI doesn't mean suspect or responsible party. He may not be directly involved or responsible in his disappearance or have anything to do at all or have any answers.

I just hope that if he is a POI because he does know something that he is assisting the police with everything he knows.
So as little William's family and relatives can find him.

or the real Spiderman was there ....

or someone Little William knew... and would run to

Among those statements was the one from Mr Spedding. Detectives allegedly found some inconsistencies in what he told them, which led them to the surprise raids on the tradesman’s former first-floor pawnbroking office in Laurieton and his Bonny Hills home last week.

“What he said did not add up because people he named did not remember seeing him,” a source alleged. The crime scene tape at the Bonny Hills house was taken down on Thursday as police completed their two-day search of the house where they dug up the yard, including a fire pit, and emptied a septic tank. Three cars were towed away and items including a mattress and computer taken from the pawnbroking office.

Quite a lot of forensic testing involved if police filled the back of a paddy wagon.....

January 21, 2015

Laurieton local Kerry Buttsworth said officers took “a load of stuff”.

“They took computers out, they took a mattress out — they took a ton of stuff out actually, they filled the back of a paddy wagon up,” the man, who owns a butcher shop across the road, told Seven Network.

I would highly doubt he would be named as a POI by police if he had nothing at all to do with it

William loved everything to do with Spider-Man, fire engines and police cars [snip] “He would have been beside himself to see the amount of police cars and police officers at Nana’s house,” she has said.

“What we want to do is show him this on his 21st (birthday) and tell him that a lot of people came *together to help find him and show him all the police cars that were here for him.”

He liked Police cars & fire engines.

Port News

Detective Inspector Gary Jubelin said there were numerous reasons for the search through dense scrub in the Queens Lake State Conservation Area.

Could someone have seen A/THE vehicle parked or driving into the bush in that location?
Numerous reasons?
A camping/fishing, dumping location or does he own or knows a property in the bush?

Surely William's body isn't in a dumped fridge somewhere in the bush.

Highest person of interest----are the police needing a body for an arrest?

it seems an unlikely premises to repair white goods as they would need to be carrried upstairs to the first floor!
You're right, inspector rex. I had never thought about that before.

this case smacks of a p ring (particularly referring to other POI's, other lines of enquiry, beds and mattresses being removed). It's a devastating thought.
I agree, Capricorn Meadow. I was thinking of all the things police have been doing in their investigation and it all points to that. The stuff you mentioned, plus the international appeal:

https://au.news.yahoo.com/nsw/a/26468221/search-for-william-tyrell-goes-overseas/

It's unfathomable and seems so unlikely, but I can't ignore what the police are getting at. I guess this sort of evil does exist as much as we try not to think about it.

NSW Crime Stoppers CEO Peter Price said they hoped the international appeal might provide new leads in their investigation.

“We're hoping that somebody might recognise him.'

New leads = new evidence to secure a conviction?

And this is how creepy creeps can get away with their activities. BBM

Statute of limitation protection for our well-protected pedos.

"JANUARY 23, 2015
The government has released a discussion paper on whether to amend the Limitation Act 1969 and wants to hear from the public. Under the NSW Statute of Limitations people abused as children generally have between three and 12 years from the time of the offence to launch a civil claim.

“It is well documented that many survivors of child sexual abuse do not disclose their experiences or act on them until decades after the abuse, well after the time period has ended,” Mr Hazzard said today.

“People who have suffered at the hands of others sometimes take 20, 30 years just to build up the courage to be able to say anything ... it’s a bit strange that’s there’s a limitation in the law that says you can’t bring proceedings,” he told ABC Radio."
