i went back to pages from a link in past few pages to view what was being said by WS members back then re all this yesterday ...I will go back again but does anyone remember who FM told " that he either hit his head and cant hear me or someone has taken him " so many details like this he wouldnt even climb a tree, being reckless crashing into the garden , the scratch on her hand, the telling him to go look for Daddys car , a tactic i used with my son to distract him from naughty behavior and possible that was said several times. so many things have always been an issue for me so I can understand investigators who know more than me are and have been questioning all this ...IMO I wish she sounded more convincing in her interviews etc

Kids had now moved to the back deck , after teas made both FFC & FGM sat outside on deck.

Lindsay emptied the pencil container, & a dice rolled out, played dice game where Lindsay would jump the amount of times that the dice landed on.

Thanks for posting @Couldbe :)

It saves reinventing the wheel!

I also have a bit of a scratch head moment with the MFC walkthrough with the Policeman where he says upon arriving back from his work business calls etc he pointed in the direction of the verandah and implied they were all sitting there and they asked him if W was with him.

And he said a few times they replied "he was just here a few minutes ago".

I am perplexed if they included all 3 FFC, Foster Grandmother and L or just Foster Grandmother and L.

If if was just Foster Grandmother and L was FFC driving towards the riding school at this point and not there???

It doesn't really make sense if the 3 were sitting there on the back verandah when he got back - I feel it's unclear to me. MOO
I remember, that FFC asked her husband about William at his car, when he arrived and was still sitting in his vehicle. If I'm not wrong with that, they -FFC, FGM, W's sister- couldn't all three have been sitting on the deck. o_O

Yes, that one is the initial search map.

The one MrsG posted is from the search in June 2018. It says so in the text on the right of the map.

(Just checked my William Tyrrell file, and that is how they are marked.)

The Riding for Disabled School area was searched in both searches.

Initial Search Map
- white arrows show the direction of the line searches, and names of the searchers are annotated for each group

June 2018 Search Map
- done over 4 weeks

I have managed to find a link for the first search map:

But sadly the Riding School area has been chopped off ….like many of the images in this case that have been cropped over the years ….

But on that original search map posted I can see that J Hudson and Sen Constable Smith searched that area…. (Along with others IIRC)

This is very informative. It also points out to me that if this is correct then fgm times are out in her walkthrough….

The following extracts are a couple of Q & A ... from a 22-minute interview released by NSW Police on 17 April 2015:

IN THEIR WORDS: William Tyrrell's parents talk of the day their boy went missing and the 'living nightmare' they endure

Underlined by me:

KEY:
P = Police
D = Dad
M = Mum

“P: When did things start to go awry?

M:
Well, when I realised that William was missing, I just, I think back to that moment where I just went, I can’t hear him, why, why can’t I hear him, and I walked around, seriously it was just 2, 3 metres away from where we were sitting, and I’ve just walked out, and I just see nothing. I see nothing, I hear nothing, I’m speechless. I’m walking around in a circle on the spot thinking, where is he, why can’t I see him, and I’m yelling out, “William, where are you, you need to talk to Mummy, tell me where you are, I can’t see you, I can’t hear you, where are you?”, and he was nowhere, and I’m just standing there thinking, how could he just disappear because he just disappeared and I don’t get it, I don’t get it.“

P: So you raised the alarm immediately?

M:
Well I raced around for a bit, then went down and got the neighbour to help, then D came back, because he had a meeting.

D: I had a meeting and I arrived back and there was a bit of confusion if William was with me, because he’s always looking out for me and my car, and I was on my way back, and I’d arrived back and been asked if William was with me and I said no, then I immediately got out of the car and started looking around, and within 5 minutes we raised the alarm and I think I ran the perimeter of the whole street within about 10-15 minutes, and I mean, he wouldn’t, he’s not a wanderer, he wouldn’t even cross the street by himself. He wouldn’t go far.

This is very informative. It also points out to me that if this is correct then fgm times are out in her walkthrough….
And now, as we have been discussing, the media are reporting that the timeline is inaccurate for that morning ….. some even suggesting that the FM version is not correct ..which is most of the morning ..

The two things we know for sure are the time of the 000 Call, and the time of Police arrival on the scene….

So honestly at this point “who knows” ???

I am most interested to hear the new timeline version ….. and to see if it fits together with some of the old timeline, as we know it … as we have been working on that version of events, for years ….

JMO

I think it's important when looking at the timeline to exclude any non objectively verifiable events, eg: Foster statements. So here is the paired back timeline.

1. 8:55am-9am Foster father captured on cctv driving his car past Kendall Tennis Club
2. 9.03 am Foster Mother made a call to washing machine repairman BS
3. 9.10am - handyman Geoff Owen rang regarding repairs to the house's verandah
4. 9.37am ‘back verandah’ photo taken of William (without shoes on)

[[William unaccounted for by externally verifiable information]]

53 minutes

5. 10.30am Foster Father texted Foster Mother to say he was on his way home from Lakewood, and around five minutes away.
6. 10.56am Foster Mother made 000 call.
7. 11.06 am first police car carrying Senior Constable Christopher Rowley arrived at scene

Time between last verifiable sighting (Photo on back verandah) and Police arrival: 89 minutes.

About 1.5 hours.

MOO, This is plenty of time to place William's body in a car, drive (3-5 minutes), place his body at the riding school (3-5 minutes), 'dispose of something out of the window' - 1 minute, and then drive back to Benaroon Drive (3-5 minutes).
This would give the Foster Mother 73 minutes to come up with a story, collect herself and start 'frantically searching' for 15-20 minutes with at least 30 minutes to spare before police arrived.

In fact, she could have started to 'frantically search' only upon getting the text from Foster father, nearly a whole hour after the last photo of William was taken.

This is very helpful in simplifying the certainties. I think we also need to include AMS being approached in this timeline as she is a witness that can account for what was happening within the 90 minutes…

I don't think anyone's statements should be considered because witnesses get details wrong and time is difficult to pinpoint, especially in highly stressful situations.

Dannywood ... good point, but do remember that AMS was there with the FM when she was making that phone call to Triple Zero ... because when she was asked to confirm the nearest cross street being Ellendale crescent, the FM said that she would ask the lady who had been helping them search for William.

Good point. That's probably considered externally verifiable too. Was AMS heard on the 000 call?
If so, all that element does is place AMS with Foster Mother at the time of placing the 000 call, and possibly a few minutes prior. So 10:56 AMS was with Foster Mother. She may have only been with Foster Mother for minutes.
In those very stressful situations, a few minutes can seem like 20 or more.

Except we don't have a time. Apparently there were multiple interactions with AMS. For example in the interview quoted above FFC is saying that she went to AMS before MFC's return. But AMS reported hearing MFC searching early on, I'm not clear if that was supposedly at her first encounter with FFC.

Put that discrepancy together with MFC's claim that they rang police within 5 minutes of his return, it looks as if he might have returned twice.

.
I don't think the riding school was missed in the initial searches. Especially because it is a place a small child might go to find a corner and snuggle up if they are lost and cold. Equally as searchable as the people who lived conjoined on that riding school property, and their property was searched on that Friday.

The entire area was searched, starting at 1km around the house, then radiating out to 10km.

September 14, 2014 — 9.02am
Search for William Tyrell, 3, expanded to cover 10km area

"Within a very short space of time the residents of Benaroon Drive plus a huge number of residents from Kendall and nearby towns joined the Police, SES, RFS and, Surf Lifesaving rallied to help in the search for William. The search continued on into the night and over the next few days and night using helicopters, tracker dogs, horses, and motorbikes to comb the surrounding properties and bushland."

The search stopped right at the boundary of riding school (going by the image posted). The riding school wasn't searched until 2021. MOO.
See this image … it is much clearer … look at the Bottom Right Hand Corner
a red line around the Riding School and 2 names are visible of who searched that area … and we know that W Hudson‘s sons assisted with the search on Day 1 ….. it is a shame the rest has been cut off …

IMG_0886.jpg

Sorry I don’t know how to post it any clearer??

I have enlarged the bottom right hand corner

No, AMS wasn't heard....... the FM said that there was a lady out helping them look for him and she would see if she could find her

That's incorrect. The riding school area wasn't searched in the first search or the second search, as per your maps and others on this thread, along with police comments. The riding school was searched for the first time in 2021.

"9News understands specialists in uncovering and examining human bones are on their way to three sites near Kendall, areas which have previously never been searched in the seven-year mystery of what happened to William."
