No they weren’t. I don’t even know what you mean? Handpicked by who? All the details surrounding them going into care came out in the court documents years ago
Well, the one detail we don't know is if the daughter of the bio mother was present the night she came to the attention of police at a party and spat at the police. If the child wasn't present, I'd be v. interested to know because it seems that event brought FACS into their lives.

Was that mentioned in the court documents?

Is it common in many households for 'decent human beings' to speak to/treat their young children like that?

I wonder if it is inherent in the character/personality of those Parents, or do they develop that attitude towards young children along the way? MOO
no idea but i'm only beginning to catch up on the case everyone else has been here for years..
That aspect is being dealt with but won't help find William..
I don't know what will short of a witness popping out of somewhere or his body being located..

It needs a flash back to 2014 and a feel for whatever was going on at the time socio economically, legally and in every way.. in order to get an idea.. Such a long time ago and so much has changed..

Wondering whether an age progression photo study was ever carried out?
On the off chance he was stolen and is still somehow alive??

Highly unlikely I know and roads already very well travelled, no doubt.. wondering whether there is any fresh hope to be brought to bear?
Without boring everybody who has been down these cul de sacs so many times before..?

Have you got a link to the event you're describing, please and the appropriate court documents if relevant?

(snipped)--I'm wondering what to make of "surgical consult". I suppose it might just mean referral to an ENT specialist. How mild is the condition really if surgery is considered an option?

I don't remember any mention of William's hearing loss in MFC's walkthrough--when he demonstrated how loud he was calling. It would have been a useful thing for the searchers to know perhaps.
IMO, the possible surgery could have been to insert grommets to open the canal & allow fluid to drain. not unusual at that age .

This is such a cluster f.

Layer.upon layer of mistakes.

I don't know if we will ever work out what happened to w.

How do you solve a jigsaw puzzle that has been shredded?

Cases don't always get solved. And it is not usually due to lack of police effort.

NSW police have more than 400 unsolved homicides sitting with the Unsolved Homicide squad. William's case is just one of them.

Tubes to be inserted into the ear. I just heard of it, because also adults sometimes have these problems. It's not a big surgery, I was told. But it doesn't always help permanently, I was told also.

Thanks to somebody (it may be FFC) the case struggles to come to an end and takes ressources off of the rest of cases.

Which, again, does not minimise the FP bad behaviour - but I find myself constantly going back in my mind to the police could have stopped this from happening any further. What kind of trust is this minor child going to have for the police in the future ... once she realises that they let it go on?
That's funny because I find myself going back to black eyes, falls off stools / daddy / mummy and inability to get up, reluctance to climb trees, falls in the back garden and odd jaunts to riding schools, to missing time, shifting stories and charges of assault. What kind of trust is this minor children going to have when they were ripped away from their parents who loved them and given to a pair of inexperienced, unsuitable, violent, wannabee parents? Yeah, she knows who hurt her.

I'm skeptical of all the focus of the FPs now after the various earlier focuses that went no where while ruining lives.

All the stuff that has come out about the FPs behaviour. Are we sure that it's not just discipline that is being viewed through a dark lens?
I don't believe in smacking but some people do, and it used to be normal.
