I think this is INCREDIBLY likely, she may have watched/listened to Casey's phone calls so much that she starts repeating Casey's words!

If that truly happens then it's a really slimy attorney and judge! I have never seen an adoption finalized WITHOUT proper homestudies, background checks, etc and I have worked in Family Law for 15 years. (and an adoptive parent of 2)

I never said anything different. Just that it would be possible, in no way ethical.

I'm really holding onto hope, I think Gabriel is still alive. I think there was some kind of "underground" adoption and TPS is behind it all. Then again, I absolutely think EJ is fully capable of killing poor little Gabriel, but I'm really holding onto hope right now.

I saw someone ask further back what the reason she went to San Antonio was, but I don't believe it was ever answered. I'd really like to know that too. Did she have family or friends there? Or do we think she was there because of something to do with TPS? There was a report that she was at Six Flags with Gabriel the day after Christmas. Who was she with? You don't just take your 8-month-old baby to Six Flags alone.

I asked that question, too. How did she wind up in San Antonio? I'm praying that LE has cell phone records for her and for the Smiths.

Right, I understand that, but what if EJ lied to the couple and their attorney and told them the father was unknown?

I'm just looking at this as if the attorney and couple (if there was an attorney and couple) believed this was all on the up and up. EJ could have been emailing and talking with this couple or a while and they set her up in a hotel and met with her in order for her to feel comfortable with them and then she signed Gabriel over to them.

I think this is especially true because there was an ongoing custody case. I'm not sure when LM filed the case, but he was in the process of trying to obtain legal custody of his son when EJ ran off.

This leads me to believe, as was mentioned by momtective above, that the person that has the baby is using an attorney to contact LE and see exactly what will happen, if they can keep the baby, if they face charges, etc., etc.

I'm praying that this is happening. I pray little Gabe is still alive and will be found but I do have doubts.

Has it been confirmed that EJ stayed in two different hotels in San Antonio or have the reporters gotten it wrong because there is a HomeGate Suites and a Quality Inn at the same address just off I-10 W?

What authorities do know is that Johnson, 23, was in San Antonio from Dec. 20-27 and spent her time in two hotels: HomeGate Studios and Suites on San Pedro Avenue and the Quality Inn and Suites Fiesta Park on Interstate 10.

According to TPS, EJ made reservations at "the hotel" a week in advance so I'm guessing there was only one hotel involved here?

If it was really both of those hotels, it opens another whole can of worms. The one on San Pedro is very suspicious.

I really think the reason that the Smiths are going on all these shows and putting themselves out there so publicly is because they think that some poor girl will look at them and see how "wonderful" they have been with baby Gabriel and give them a baby. I think they are just networking so they can obtain a baby. I have no idea why TPS is so baby hungry (I am 52 and done with diapers) but she definately has a problem and her motives aren't pure. She either thinks she can somehow get Gabriel back or some other baby through this.

If it it turns out to be true she did stay at two hotels....I really cannot fathom where she got all this money from then. Selling her dogs and whatever other crock o' story they tried to tell isn't cutting it for me. She had to have a nice chunk of change to make this trip with all that was involved.

She got to the hostel by hopping Greyhound, right across the street from the Motel 6. No idea how she knew or if she knew about the youth hostel. I think she left the car there to get on the bus...overly simplistic, maybe.
There were no signs of violence in the vehicle. FWIW.

I have a 24 year old daughter, and can tell you that is the last possession she would probably give up willingly! When you are in your early 20's, your car is not usually just your form of transportation, it is your very vessel of freedom.

I wonder if it was out of gas? Do we even know what make/model/year it is?

Why travel to a youth hostel, by Greyhound bus, when you have a car?
I don't get it. With the money it costs to buy a Greyhound bus ticket, you could put gas in your car!

She supposedly cares so much about Gabriel that she wants him to be safe from being miserable, but she can't say his name...not once.
In the entire 9 minute phone call, his name is said once, by the reporter. That says a lot about all three of them, Jack/TPS/EJ.
Not one of them is emotionally invested in Gabriel's life.

EJ got rid of a problem and poor TPS lost her outward symbol of her Christlike love and devotion..

BBM. Six Flags in the winter ? Maybe it's not as cold in San Antonio, but I just don't think of going to amusement parks in the winter. I wonder how accurate that sighting was and if they have video confirmation yet.

The only place I've ever read/heard that EJ and Gabe were AT Six Flags, was on Nancy Grace. All other reports I've seen/heard state they were seen at a park NEAR Six Flags. I believe this was an error on the part of NG or her team. IMO.

I think she was taking a page out of the Casey Anthony book. The similarities in the cases are pretty significant.

What I'm wondering is who exactly is this "everybody" that commended her for leaving Gabriel with the Smiths the first time around. Was it the Smiths themselves? I'm sure it wasn't LM.

I'm on the fence as to whether she killed him or not. She appears perfectly capable of it and I wouldn't put it past her, but why go to San Antonio and stay for several days before doing it? I think she had an underground adoption set up (through TPS or through someone else), left Gabriel with the new parents and hopped a bus to start a new life in Miami, but the cops found her right away. Her big mistake was sending that text message, because without it I don't think this case would have gotten the attention that it has, and it was probably that attention that got her found and arrested so quickly. Then again, maybe she did kill him.

My guess as to WHO commended EJ the first time she gave the baby to someone (The Smiths). My answer is The Smiths themselves.
