Sergio is coaching baseball, singing in the opera, working a full time job, seems like a pretty good guy to me folks, like I said though I am in a constant state of being let down by humans but for some strange reason I continue to believe in the good of humanity, maybe one day I will learn my lesson and wash my hands of them all and just lock myself in my house with my kitty cat.

My abuser was also my baseball coach, and him and a relative of mine were "normal" people other than what they were doing in secret. Nobody would have suspected them at all. Never in trouble with the law, stable jobs, active in the community...sigh, can never know who to trust anymore. Not saying this makes SC guilty, but I just have a different way of looking at things. Nothing makes people look innocent to me, I look at everyone with suspicion, and see who looks EXTRA suspicious.

Isabel's grandfather form her mother's side, Hector Rodriguez, said he's praying for the family to receive good news soon.
It's been an agonizing day for the family as they wait to hear about what happened with their loved one.
Rodriguez was glued to his binoculars trying to see what was going on at the scene.
He lives in Douglas and made the trip to Tucson as soon as his daughter called him with news that little Isabel went missing.

I suppose Becky could have other family in Tucson? The news says the boys are staying with family and one parent. Or maybe they went to Douglas? Isn't JM related to Becky's side in Florida? TIA

The kids are with one parent and a relative, don't know where.

Does anyone know which parents name is on the deed of the home?
Maybe that is the parent staying at the house and has the no-contact since they own the home, and the other parent is with the boys at a relatives house.
Just a guess - unless both parents are on the deed of the house.
Just throwing out thoughts to figure out which parent has the no-contact.

No doubt, never having suffered any sort of abuse I am often too trusting of people. Truth is the abusers who are getting away with it are the ones who can hide it the best and they do indeed come from all walks of life and are people no one would ever suspect otherwise. I said before I really always try and think the best of people but it is becoming increasingly hard to do so, especially with all the social media we have nowadays that allows us to hear about all the bad crap that goes on in the world all the time so easily now. Nothing has changed, there is no real increase in crime or abuse now than there was in the 50s for example, we just hear about it more now.

As a Catholic I am all too aware of those in positions of authority who abuse that trust and power.

A nurse (who spoke to the media for Becky's character) stated that they were high school sweethearts, but Sergio is 5-6 years older than Becky. It is very unlikely that they were in high school together.

Taking everything into account that has happened since day one (dog hit, landfill search, 911 calls, neighbor's comments, etc etc) and everything LE has said and done, including their continued scrutiny of the family, I think that dad is culpable for something happening to Isabelle; and I think one son knows what that might be (the one they brought back to the scene for the re-enactment).

If the son knows, he may now fear for his own life if he reveals the truth to LE. And thus, CPS separated him from that threat.

If LE suspected that the mom was a similar threat, then the no contact order would apply to both and they would have been placed with a relative.

I think this young son might be the "break" that LE is looking for, and they are trying to get him to open up and talk. But in order to do that, he has to feel safe.

Alright y'all, this is making me crazy. Assuming that Isa was NOT kidnapped by a stranger, what plausible theory can we build?

I keep wanting to go with SC either intentionally or accidentally killed Isa during some type of (probably sexual) abuse or related to ongoing abuse (to stop her from telling).

But that still doesn't feel right to me.

What is the disconnect between the parents? Could RC have suspected, after the fact, that SC was responsible? Maybe she had an Aha! moment and began putting some things together that had been bothering her for a while.

Uncle Cousin still gives me pause. Is there any way he fits in this?

How would the No Contact order (assuming it refers to SC) relate to Isa's disappearance? Did LE suddenly find some physical evidence of sexual abuse in Isa's case and took steps to protect the boys? But why bother with CPS and not just arrest him if there is evidence of that?

Perhaps, as other posters have intuited, the boys saw something that didn't jibe with SC's statements to LE and they were being threatened to keep quiet.

I just can't come up with anything where all of the pieces fit flush.

Yea he has been seen a lot in the Sabino High School area, he is definitely eating the deer! He is huge just a big incredible kitty.

We are driving down to Patagonia Lake and gonna spend the night and fish, I will have my wireless phone to check in of course! Ever been down to Patagonia, its the most beautiful little town hour or so from Tucson and it is mostly famous artists and writers who live there, then about 10 miles up from there is a big lake for boating and fishing.

My problem with all of this is that they have no hired an attorney up to this point and that is unusual, they also voluntarily sat for polygraph testing AND allowed the boys to be interviewed alone by detectives, none of that is the behavior of people trying to hide things IMO, so I really have to assume this new development is not directly related to the case but is the result of some sort of problem between mom and dad perhaps the result of pressure and stress, but then again the whole idea of a random person taking the kid out the window is extremely rare and certainly not something I would put my hard earned money on if I was a gambling man.

Absolutely true.... True they have been under untold stress. But with that said I have two sons who are now 24 and 19 and... "cuddling...??? Really?
I don't buy it it's another "red flag" growing list.

And not to bring up something totally out of "left -field" maybe the "uncle" is sc's SO ? Would this change anything and or make any sense?
