This just made my heart drop through the floor and I want to be sick....

(snip)

Grogan-Cannella's 10-year old sister informed the Mohave Daily News Tuesday evening that Rector had been in the house when her sibling disappeared. She said she heard yelling and when she came out of the bathroom, both Rector and her sister were gone. She added that Rector later texted messages to the family indicating that he had Isabella and asking what they were going to do about it.

JMO, but brace yourselves, as "the rest of the story" will likely be all the more infuriating.

Why, oh why, is a 10 year old allowed to talk to media?? This case is all kinds of screwed up (moo)!
I don't think she was talking to the media . I think that ce from somewhere in the PD , relayed to the media . My guess is she's not in the home anymore .lord I hope not!

He was allowed in the house when they were fighting over drug money is my guess. So why didn't somebody try and stop him? Chase him down the street? Was mom home to hear the craziness? If there was yelling, I doubt he was yelling to himself. This is so messed up, and sick.

Yep, I'd like to know who else was in the house at the time? If Bella's sister heard the noise, then noticed Bella and JR were gone, surely others noticed too. Or were they too 'out of it to react'?

Also Bella's sister said JR had been texting the family to say he had Bella, sounds like the family knew where she was all along. Just my opinion. X

Did I miss something? The 10 yr old told LE that perp texted and said he has her? Why didn't the parents offer that?

Bizarre: The evening after she was reported missing, Rector posted this message to Facebook

The timeline's confusing too. IIRC, msm said she was last seen in bed at 11:30 pm and (her mom?) noticed her missing at 1:30 am. So that means she called police at 1:30 am. If that's the case and the 10-year-old's information is correct, then... WTH went on during those two hours?

What have I missed? TIA.

Well, if what the 10 year old is saying is true, then we can throw out the timeline anyway, because it came from the mom, I'm assuming. I have seen elsewhere that possibly there WAS a two hour lapse between realizing she was gone and the reporting.

I think that's the 100,000 dollar question .

Ok so just re read the whole story in the MDN . It said that the sister did tell them directly about the Alleged texts from JR that he had Bella. Wow! Crazy how on earth did they get to the 10 year old sister?! You'd think she would be in protective custody .

Apparently I should not have linked to the FB page. I apologize!

I sure hope so, but it says she spoke to the paper ... I can't imagine a young girl, whose sister was just found, being allowed to be interviewed by the paper. Someone please bundle this girl up, keep the public away and give her support!
