Oh my! Did they say with gma?

that's what I thought I heard....only heard the live broadcast and fell to the floor..
but I also heard ''all day'' (smoking meth) and that he had spent the day w/Bella ((geeze....was she in the bedroom too?? - gawd I hope not)) and when he left he didn't see her....

if I ''heard'' it wrong and someone else listened live online I would welcome their comments on what they heard as well

Didn't the friend say that the adults were ALL upstairs before they left for Walmart. He wasn't smoking alone! JMO

I have little doubt that it was ALL the adults smoking/using meth. It explains the messed up timelines, contradictory accounts, late night outings and the delay in calling 911.

It also explains the murder. Who knows what set off the chain of events, but as I linked upthread, chronic meth use causes intense psychosis, paranoia and violence.

It *might* also explain why TG wishes Bella just stayed "in bed" or more accurately - out of the way.

SPECIAL TO THE LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL

BULLHEAD CITY, Ariz. — A Bullhead City man facing a murder charge in the slaying of of his friend’s 8-year-old daughter was getting high on methamphetamine before the child was reported missing and later found buried in a shallow grave, according to police records released Tuesday.
Justin Rector, 26, told detectives he had been smoking meth throughout the day in his mother’s upstairs bedroom, according to an affidavit establishing probable cause for the search of the girl’s home. Rector had been staying in a two-story duplex where Isabella “Bella” Grogan-Cannella lived with her mother, Tania Grogan.
Bella went missing after police say she was playing hide and seek with Rector late Sept. 1. Her body was found strangled Sept. 3 about a half mile from her home. Bullhead City police said they found Rector’s shoeprints where she had been buried and that a witness spotted a man who matched Rector’s description in that area.
Police initially arrested Rector Sept. 2 and accused him of shoplifting. Police said he admitted to stealing a change of clothes from a nearby Wal-Mart.
Rector is being held without bond in the Mohave County jail awaiting arraignment Friday on charges of first degree murder, kidnapping, child abuse and abandonment of a dead body.
Mohave County Superior Court Judge Lee Jantzen ruled Monday that reporters will not be allowed to take pictures or make video recordings during Rector’s legal proceedings.

"Rector's mother's bedroom"? Previous info revealed it is RF's mother, not Rector's. We need to see the affidavit. :gaah:

It seems only audio recording will be permitted in court.

I'm following a few other cases here on WS and I've noticed that even though the circumstances of the cases differ there are some behaviors the parents seem to have in common.

In each case, whether by omission of information or outright lies, it was/is nearly impossible to establish an accurate timeline. Stories changed multiple times. None of the parents took any responsibility for exposing their child to harmful elements that contributed to the tragic event. They all vehemently defend themselves as a “good parent.” They talk about their grief but not their murdered child.

But what astonishes me the most is the almost superhuman ability to “move on” with their lives in a matter of days after losing their child. I won't name specific cases (well obviously I'm including this one) but the parents have all either been out on the town, shopping, going to casinos and restaurants or else on social media, posting recipes, sharing funny videos, having lots of “lols.”

Is this what everyone means when they say people grieve differently? Some brave posters here have shared that they grieve differently but their descriptions are about being stoic in public, hiding their feelings, being unable to cry until their loss actually sinks in and so on.

I understand the importance of returning to a normal life, especially when there are remaining children to care for and I understand that FB could be used as recovery therapy. What I don't get is how these people manage to do all that in a matter of a couple of weeks - or even days.

Relisha Rudd's case comes to mind, imo.

Where is Relisha? :(

When I watch the video with TG, it sadly reminds me of Jerry Springer...jmo

This just in:

Rector smoked meth in 'grandma's room all day. ( RF's mom )

From the above link:

Justin Rector update: Suspect told police he smoked meth on day Isabella Grogan-Cannella disappeared

"According to a search warrant conducted on Sept. 4 by the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office at the girl’s home, detectives removed a number of computers, tablets and cell phones. They also seized soiled linens, clothing, a piece of a mattress and a bag of garbage."

"...a piece of a mattress"
LE only took the piece of the mattress necessary for forensic verification.

Ok. So I have to say that I am absolutely not shocked about granny. I suspected she used all along. So what we've been suspecting all along is actually true ?(end sarcasm )

Well I'm certainly not surprised by the new info in link. I knew meth was involved.
So JJR was inside the home all day, upstairs smoking meth in granny's room.
Explains why grandma wasn't around on the 911 call, the delay in calling 911 was probably due to a drug tidy up.
There is no way, that any of the adults in that home were unaware of drug use.
I'm glad JJR appears to be talking, interesting to know TGs reaction to this.

Soiled linen and a piece of mattress taken, I don't even wanna think why?
Computers, tablets and several mobile phones also taken, I wonder if the 'missing' text will turn up on one of them.

Jumping off your link:

"Justin Rector, 26, told detectives that he had been staying in the living room at the home of Isabella Grogan-Cannella for two days, according to documents obtained by ABC15".
----

Didn't TG or RF say in one of the interviews that they last saw Bella when she was getting ready for bed in the living room?

Where did the girls sleep? I assumed it was the living room based on that info and the fact it is a two bedroom home.

Please tell me they didn't sleep in the same room as the accused!

That's the impression i got too! It's sickening isn't it?
I'd love to see inside the home, to see the bedroom layouts. To see where everyone slept. We know grandma had a bedroom, and I'm guessing TG and hubbie had the other.
I think there's so much more to come out yet.

I can't say I'm surprised one little bit. My guess is that there's way more to come and it's going to be what we all expected.

I'm not sure we even thought about this but maybe others were in Granny's room too smoking meth. Maybe the story of going to Walmart isn't true at all.

Remember the infamous 911 call? When asked where the mother was the Boyfriend/Husband says that the mother is UPSTAIRS and distraught. Hmmm.... Now that we know what went on upstairs I'm wondering if TG was there all along.

I wish I knew what those Walmart videos showed.

http://www.abc15.com/news/region-no...lla-grogan-cannella-disappeared?autoplay=true

I only read the article at first and couldn't figure out where the info was coming from about him being in RF's mom's room smoking meth. There's no mention of that at all, in the article, only in the video. It just says "in an upstairs bedroom" in the article.

Then in this article http://www.reviewjournal.com/news/n...-killed-bullhead-city-girl-had-been-high-meth it says Rector was in HIS mother's bedroom. Huh?

Not that I'd be shocked to learn RF's mom is also an addict (I've seen her interview, sorry, she's got all the physical signs of drug use showing in her face), but it seems to me there's a bit of mis-info here.

Regardless of all that, I think the picture is becoming a bit more clear and it's likely what many have suspected all along. ALL the adults in the house were doing their drugs upstairs that day/night while the girls were basically on their own. The typical drug house, sadly, where the kids essentially raise themselves.

Still odd, if everyone was getting high in the 'upstairs bedroom' that evening, why exclude mentioning JJR but do include ["my mom"] during the 911 call?

On face value, excluding any agenda it appears as if RF did not know JJR was (still) upstairs and / or in a bedroom?

It's very odd but I find it difficult to believe they didn't know he was still there. He'd been staying in the house for a few days so unless they'd told him he couldn't stay that night why wouldn't he still be there. There must be some reason for failing to mention him I've about 100 different theories but only they will know.
I'm more interested to hear from the people who went on the Walmart trip and hear what version of events they give, if they say he was or wasn't about. It's surprising to me that their names haven't been mentioned yet especially with all the social media groups. JMO

I believe an article indicated JJR had stayed over in TG's living room for "two days".
