As days turned to weeks and weeks to months, flyers were taken down. Yellow ribbons that covered the city are now faded and frayed.

“It’s unfortunate and heartbreaking,” said Brenda Valenzuela. “I can’t imagine a world without my kids.”

Outside Jesse’s school at the Bradley Academy some yellow ribbons tied to a fence remain but many have blown away. At the main entrance, a giant yellow wreath hangs on a pillar outside but flyers that were once on the door and inside are now gone.

For many in this community, a little boy who was once the primary focus of so many has taken a back seat to the holidays and everyday issues. His picture that was seemingly up in every business is rarely seen.

This makes me so sad. :( Still waiting for the forensic test results. I wonder if the school is continuing to act as liason/spokesperson on behalf of Jesse's mom?

I feel that removing the posters from the school is best for all the OTHER children. I think that would scare the younger ones to keep them up indefinitely.

From the link above:

"Buckeye police do plan to print out more flyers and pass them out in hopes stores and businesses will once again post them around town."

This just breaks my heart. This is what his mother, should be doing! Seriously where is she?! How can you be an adopted parent then just decide one day you don't feel like doing it anymore??? This is crazy! think I am going to take a drive over to Buckeye police station and offer to print flyers for them. I just can't believe that so many people in Jesse's life have fail him. Sorry this case makes me so angry, sad, and frustrated.

Thinking of Jesse today. This case truly baffles me. Where is the public outcry, matter of fact where is Crystal? This is a ten-year-old child. Not like he had a car, some cash and just left.

The Buckeye Police Department continues to work the case and follow up on leads but is still waiting for forensic evidence sent to the DPS Crime Lab.

My thought is that BPD has a theory of what happened to Jesse, and is waiting for the results to move forward in the case.

Something's gotta give here. This beautiful boy needs peace. This helpless child deserves justice. Whoever did this (*AHEM*) needs and will receive punishment.

Jesse, we pray, we hope, we fight. We will bring you home. We love you so much!

Oh little Jessie. This is a time of year for children to be filled with wonder and delight. I so wish you were in a happy home enjoying the spirit of Christmas. We won't forget you!

Jesse went 'missing' on my wedding anniversary, I remember reading the thread when it was started and feeling guilty that I was kicking back enjoying nice wine and food while this wee beaut was suffering.

Thought it was sadly fairly obvious what had happened, and that there would be a quick arrest... so sad to see that this isnt the case.

I have little twinnies, theyve only ever been seperated once for 5 days while one was in hospital, it was absolutely heartbreaking. Thinking of Jesse's twin and sibling.

Oh we need a Christmas miracle. We need to find you little one!

I had never heard about this case until today & all I can say is it makes me sad. Sad because a sweet innocent boy is probably gone and the mother is acting very strange. Giving his dog away shortly after he disappeared? Sounds like the dog was sniffing or digging something she didn't want him to..

Nothing. No leads, no news, only that investigators are still waiting for forensic tests to come back.
The school desk that was erected as a symbol of the "Lead Jesse Home" campaign was also taken down, as it was becoming weathered. School officials, however, said the ribbons that are still up will serve as reminders to never give up hope for Jesse, as well as a reminder of how people should cherish one another.

O Jesse, wish we could have a Christmas miracle and you would be here enjoying the holidays like all children should be able to do without fear of anyone hurting them. I think of u often and hope the person responsible will be held accountable for your missing.

Unidentified remains found about 32 miles from Buckeye (no details yet): http://www.tucsonnewsnow.com/story/34138821/mcso-human-remains-found-in-northwest-valley
Here is the distance: https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Buc...22fe!2m2!1d-112.3226105!2d33.6461717?hl=en-US

Probably not related, but Jesse is the first one I think of whenever I see remains found in AZ.

Not related to Jessie. The video at this link says the body has been there several hours, investigation is ongoing

Jesse, our sweet little one, it's time to tell us where you are, time to find peace.
