After talking with Kelly’s friends and family, police arrested Daniel for aggravated assault charges, and his bond sits at $500,000.

“Today for instance we’ve had approximately 40 different trained search personnel out in the field assisting with multiple different types of teams ranging from just standard ground search units to different dog teams with different disciplines,” Simonsen said. “We’ve also utilized different types of resources such as our drones.”

New video at link. Lots of pictures of the house exterior showing several unfinished home improvement projects with an overall unkempt appearance. It looks very disorganized. Her facebook showed pics of her with her children but I don't see any toys or kid stuff in any of the pics.

Wondering if he hadn't been working for a while? An architect should bring in pretty good money. Kelly had a ticket for no currrent registration on her car, so maybe things weren't going so great.

Looks like they were rebuilding a fence. The kids are 9 & 5, maybe their bikes, toys, ect., were kept in the garage.

The full timeline of events shows cell phone data, which places Kelly’s phone at Shutlze Creek Trail around 10:20 am. Police said because of this they are efforting the forest around Snowbowl on Wednesday.

Simonsen said they’ve heard a lot from the public about wanting to help, but they added that their team is trained to handle this kind of recovery.

“They’re trained to locate and secure evidence for whatever the circumstance may be,” he said. “It’s important for us to be able to document the areas that we are searching or our search personnel are well-versed in utilizing technology so we could track where we’ve been down to a very, very small location.”

All trails are still open, and police said there is no danger to the public.

With more people traveling to the high country and recreating outdoors over the Fourth of July holiday crews are hoping someone will find Kelly.

While authorities were speaking with Daniel at their residence, a drop of fresh blood was allegedly seen outside the garage door. A trash bin out for collection had a gray shirt, pants, and a hat that appeared to be Kelly's, along with a camera and flashlight.

Court paperwork states during the investigation, officials spoke to neighbors who heard multiple screams from a woman, including a woman yelling out "Daniel." When the neighbors looked into the Paduchowski's backyard, they reportedly saw Kelly lying face-down and motionless with Daniel on top of her.

A few minutes later, the neighbors saw Kelly lying on her side in the yard, motionless, and Daniel was not seen, according to court paperwork.

About an hour later, the neighbors reported seeing Daniel in his 2001 Toyota Sequoia in the garage, which they say is unusual for him, per documents.

After this, Daniel was reportedly seen watering the yard where Kelly was previously spotted, and a sprinkler was left running all day in that area.

Did these neighbours not call 911 during this whole scenario? I can't believe it if the answers 'no'. What type of scenario would trigger a call?

Just awful!
-spotted fresh blood outside the garage door
-also found blood on the patio that included a bloody footprint
-saw a gray shirt, pants and a hat that appeared to belong to Kelly inside a trash can.
-Daniel appeared to have injuries on his hands and his knee
-referred to Kelly in the past tense
This guy sounds just like Barry Morphew: the call, the bike ride, the aggression, the cover up. Poor woman. And those neighbours?! How can you watch a man assault a woman who remains motionless and then hoses down the area? In what world do you live when you see that and think 1 + 1 adds up to 0? My god.

The Search and Rescue continues. It is now a recovery effort. Daniel Paduchowski is behind bars on charges of aggravated assault. Flagstaff Police say they found evidence that Daniel Paduchowski assaulted his wife, Kelly Paduchowski. Exactly when it happened is not clear. Sgt. J. L. Rintala: "Something occurred."

The Timeline began on the morning of Sunday, 30 June 2024 and encompassed a three-hour period.
  • 10:20 AM - Kelly's phone pinged at Shultz Creek trail
  • 12:13 PM - Kelly's phone returns to the couple's home in Coconino Estates
  • 1:30 PM - DP and Kelly's white 2018 Mazda CX-5 SUV were seen at Campbell Mesa Trailhed
  • 7:39 PM - DP reported Kelly missing in the area of Lake Mary

Kelly Paduchowski works as a Solar Panel Specialist. She is the mother of two children who are currently staying with family members.
So it's pretty likely Kelly would be around Schultz Creek Trail imoo. He later went to Campbell Mesa and left her car there as a red herring. iirc this is where he was spotted with a bike, so left the car and biked home. Hoping that when he reported her missing her car would be found there and searches would be there and not at Schultz? imoo.

Did he have an opportunity to move her from there to yet another location?

I'm stuck on a woman screaming and no one coming to her aid or reaching out to someone who would.

That makes the most sense. I don’t think he had his cell phone with him at all, or they would have found her by now. They are back tracking his movements based on sightings - witness and cameras, JMO.

I wonder if his vehicle had an onboard GPS capable of recording his travels.

Searchers are reportedly at Snowbowl area, which is north of Schultz Creek Trail by about 5 miles, and again, very much farther from the Campbell Mesa Trail ruse where he left her car and bicycled home.

It's only a matter of time until she is found.

His toyota is said to be a 2001 model, not sure?

DP thinks he's the smartest person in true crime history. What an idiot.

This has probably already been answered, but . . .

"Police distributed images of her white 2018 Mazda CX-5 and his silver or gray 2001 Toyota Sequoia SUV, asking anyone who came across either vehicle or person to reach out to investigators."

Are the neighbors insane or something?

Ironically, I was just reading something the other day about architect salaries (related to best ROI for college degrees). I belong to a FB group for parents of college students. I was surprised at the number of architects who responded saying it’s a field you go into for the passion, not the pay.

Kelly's job

Kelly Paduchowski, a woman of many hats, is likely the first person you will reach when calling us. She will design a quality grid-tied PV system for you and will help install it too.Kelly began installing solar in 2007 and became a PV designer in 2009. She received her NABCEP certification in 2010. Kelly has taught Photovoltaic courses through Coconino Community College and for the National Park Service.Kelly’s other interests include mountain biking, camping, nutrition and well-being, and spending time with her husband and toddler.

Here's a map with the timeline - I find it helpful to visualize.

Thank you for sharing this map. It is very helpful. As someone above noted, it is only 5 miles between the Schultz Creek Trail and snowbowl, but it sure does look far apart on the map. I wonder if police have some better phone pings that they are not sharing and that is why they are searching closer to Snowbowl.

I'm not sure which part of the Snow Bowl Road is being searched. That marker is approximate, somewhere on that road. Five miles as the crow flies?

This is unusual:

He took her phone to Schultz Creek at 10:20, went home, then went back to Schultz Creek at 11:30, picked up the phone, brought it home at 12:13. Did he toss the phone and then change his mind about putting it there, or was that part of a ruse to give the illusion that she was running at Schultz Creek?

Where is the phone today? In the vicinity of her car, or not found?

There must be a reason they're searching on Snow Bowl Road. They searched his home, found blood, maybe there were unusual search maps on his computer or phone? If this was not planned, then he would have unusual searches on his phone on June 30 at 9:00 a.m. If it was planned, maybe something on his vehicle tracked to that location?

My guess is that the police have additional pings they are not releasing. Think about it, they gave us information on a few so it makes sense that they have more than what they have released.
