Yikes, I'm not so sure they were heading to work if she didn't have her purse. Did either of the sons see them in the morning?

Not good. I'm very suspicious, especially now, that her purse was left at home. Sounds as if it's close to home. JMO. I'm just trying to justify a 5 am appointment---that sounds a bit unreasonable for business. Now a gym appointment or a running-time sounds more appropriate.

Here is a link for United Airlines flights leaving Phoenix. Flights start at 5 am. Assuming reports that Mike is a pilot for United Airlines is accurate, it would explain why they leave the house so early in the morning.

FWIW, Mike and his ex were also sued by the Air Line Pilots association in 2009, per Maricopa county court records. I am not a good enough sleuth to get any more info. But maybe the unemployed report is correct?

Just a theory thrown out there - reconnect, whirlwind romance, marries a guy who is horrible in the financial department, being sued by a former employer, possibly making income in some illegal fashion (just for now). He is not forthcoming for obvious reasons. She finds out later, after the marriage, he pissed off the wrong person, people and they are ambushed and kidnapped or killed on the way to a "meeting" about the problem. Anyone else have a theory?

It seems like someone at the house, or someone who came to the house, late Sunday night could have killed the couple there. They could have driven their bodies somewhere where the car would have gotten dirty, then left the car a block from the house and either returned to the house or left in their vehicle.

I agree! I'm trying to figure out how to combine the non-smiling pic with the Mesa subject. I haven't mastered how to yet. But VERY similar indeed. IMO.

Mike Perry, Tina's brother, said almost 48 hours of this story being in the headlines has brought some twists. Mike said he had to sift through photos of a Mesa bank robbery suspect to tell them it wasn't their sister.
"I knew that wasn't Tina," he said.
The Mesa Police Department spokesperson Det. Esteban Flores said they have gotten a number of calls about the similarities too, but all their evidence points to it not being Tina.

I agree with Wendybtn. I think her theory is close. I think the robbery is in connection somehow. I know there is an "abundance of overly tan white women" here, but the timing/pictures just seen TOO coincidental. Also... The FBI is involved in the bank robbery case. Does the FBI get involved in every bank robbery? Is that just standard now?
I just find it an extremely strange coincidence, if so.
