The silence is killing me. Not one word of news today, I think today is the first day with just not one word, not even an honorable mention in the media. I hope all this silence means LE is holding things close to the vest and things are ready to break open in this situation. Sylar seems to be off the radar right now, I hope to God this silence means something.....

I know. I'm thinking the county is is pretty overwhelmed right now...that's probably the reason for silence? When they start talking again, it'll hit the media?
In the meantime, I feel sure they will say if they find Sylar or not- even if it's no more details than that. :(

Jumping in here, and I tried to read the entire thread so I am in tow with the conversation, but I have a few questions (as I am sure many of us here do.)
1. Did the adoptive mother call the police? I am reading via other sites that it wasn't her that called at all. I am sorry if I over looked this part of the conversation in the thread.
2. I have tried looking for this 911 call online, no avail. Has this been posted?

3. I heard about Sylar after hearing about Emmit, how long has Sylar been missing now? Weeks?

Sylar has been gone two weeks tomorrow. At first one of the older kids called 911 and the call was apparently dropped/lost. The cell service is not great there. The camp manager made the 2nd call, I believe. The adoptive (so-called) mother was allegedly searching when the first 911 call was made. I think I heard a portion of the call from the child on Nancy Grace.

We don't know much more except that after lots of searching, law enforcement announced earlier this week that they believe Sylar is no longer alive and that they are conducting a criminal investigation. They have not said who, if anyone, is a suspect or who if anyone passed lie detector tests.

1 No. The adoptive Mother did not make either of the 2 emergency calls that were made from the campsite.

2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ro-Z0Rgisyg&feature=related
A) First call made by 14 yr old friend that was staying with the family at the campsite.
B) Second call made by campsite host.

3. Sylar has been missing since July 25, 2010

Sorry cluciano :)

I'm thinking (and hoping) that LE has been quiet lately because they're slowly building up their case collecting evidence so they'll have a solid conviction. They seem pretty sure of their case, I think now it's just a waiting game.

Maybe I am being too critical, but with 2 adults in the camping party: it is the family friend, THAT IS A CHILD, that is made to go call 911. Hello red flag alert... :(

I agree. That sent up a red flag for me also. MOO

Yes and the fact that the adoptive Mother didn't call the bioMom to tell her Sylar was missing. The FBI had to do that. (reported on NG). Ack.

The Tina has not really done much except make a statement to the news people that a hispanic man was watching them. I am so glad she remembered to tell the media because she forgot to tell the officers asking her ''What happened and did you notice anything unusual?"
Good thing the officers where told by random interent people a week later. Way to help find Sylar Tina. If they had known to look for your pretend hispanic guy, who they may have already deported they might not have passed their new immigration laws, another thing I can blame on you Tina.

I wish we knew if a man fitting this description was at the campsite, and if so, what others may have said about him. It seems he must have been there as it would be very quickly proven to be a false statement if not, and put her on the top of the "suspect" list. :waitasec: Again, not that I believe he has anything to do with Sylar's disappearance. MOO

Maybe that statement about the "Hispanic man" has put her on suspect list...as it seems it would be very easy to disprove. If only she "saw" him.

Tina did not mention this to LE
Tina knows LE took all video's that other campers had.
Tina knows cell service is bad in area.
Thesse are the issues with Tina reporting the hispanic man to the media. If there was a man fitting this description at the campsite Tina did not want to point that out to LE. Why not?

Nother question for anybody who knows this and A link would be great but if not it can be a yes or no.
Is Tina's reported BF hispanic?

That is exactly what I'm curious about. Besides the fact that it is unlikely Sylar could survive in the wilderness, it seems LE has been rather quick to call this a criminal investigation, search the landfill and is saying very little about what they know. I also found it very improbable that this "Hispanic man" could be spending so much time on his phone with such sporadic cell reception. :waitasec: MOO

I'm sorry to be testy but; the "Hispanic man?"

So he's Hispanic....driving a white truck. I wonder if he was wearing a baseball hat and if he had a ponytail as well? If so, he could be the POI in the murders of Taylor Placker and Skyla Whitaker in Weleetka OK...that I might add has never been located. The POI sketch in that case was said to be an "Indian man" but still, kwim? Fishy fishy

LOL shutterfly.

I am picturing Tina running to read that case and yelling ''THATS HIM THAT HIM'
