I so agree, I reember after Paris being so impressed at there LE. They were onto cells instantly. And they were not playing around. And they kept being in the news with arrests concistently since Paris.

I remeber thinking they are doing better than anyone else - at least they keep arrsting people .
 
Heard the news a short time ago. So sad. Came here to spend time reading what WS post - I knew there would be an active, informed thread about it.

My heart is with the people of Belgium today....as well as with people who live in fear of danger like this across the world every day.
 
I am super pissed off...watching news and see our president offering peace and friendship to Cuba while carnage is going on in Brussels...WTF!!!!!!

That's the same as Reuters is reporting.

Attacks in Brussels have lead to the deaths of 34 people in total. According the Belgian broadcaster VRT, 20 people were killed in the blast on a metro train while another 14 died in explosions at Zaventem airport.

I was in Brussels right after Paris attack also and personally watched the politie at the stations and they meant business.Zuid station has many morrocan gangs and I witnessed one man not obeying the police and they made him strip naked in the station.I have many stories over the years at the Zuid station .We used to stay across the street until the attacks we moved to the Centrum.

I join others in sending prayers of love and comfort to the families of the victims of today's bombings. Praying that the injured heal.

Thank you so much to all who posted such kind sentiments and prayers.

You truly remind me that there are more wonderful, kind and caring people in the world than those who are not.
