This time a not so happy looking Dellen Millard talking to his lawyer at break. #Bosma @CTVNews

Good. Maybe it is because he finally gets no more say and neither do his lawyers. Game is officially over.

He had notes he would periodically refer to

XiolaBlueX, do you like TD's style? He sounds like he is a really good public speaker and I don't think he needs a script. De is doing just fine without one. How does his body language read?

Low blow but totally in line with what most of us have thought at some point.
Haha...:)
The tweets really cut some important parts right out/hard to read context. What I recall Dungey illustrating, is that If DMs scenario was true and MS unbeknownst to DM brought a gun and accidently killed DM, DM hypothetically could have tried to calm down MS, said its ok, I'll hire you the best lawyers, we'll do the right thing, etc...... Instead of an innocent person (DM in his own scenario) eventually incinerating TB (after driving the dead mans stolen vehicle instead of His own Yukon)

Dungey says Smich also said Millard would write lyrics with him too.

Dungey says he now wants to deal with Smich's rap lyrics. "They're artistic expressions. That's what they are."

Court now back in session.

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 45s45 seconds ago
#Bosma jury is back. Dungey says good news, he'll finish today. He wants to deal with his client Smich's raps."They're artistic expressions"

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 38s38 seconds ago
Dungey talking about Smich's raps. "They're artistic expressions, that's what they are." To try to link them to violence isn't fair.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 53s53 seconds ago
Dungey says "Millard wrote raps with him...Millard was also a rapper."

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 50s50 seconds ago
Smich also testified that Millard wrote raps with him, Dungey says. Millard was also a rapper, though not to the same extent.

Adam Carter ‏@AdamCarterCBC 32s32 seconds ago
Dungey says Smich also said Millard would write lyrics with him too. #TImBosma #Bosma

Peter Akman ‏@PeterAkmanCTV 1m1 minute ago
Dungey on Smich rapping "The raps are artistic nothing to do with killing Mr. #TimBosma" @CTVNews

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 40s40 seconds ago
"So if people do raps, that means they have a criminal mind?...I listen to opera all the time. Opera is filled with violence," says Dungey.

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 35s35 seconds ago
Dungey says he listens to opera all the time. It's filled with violence. Does that mean Verdi had a criminal mind?

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 27s27 seconds ago
Dungey argues that rap is the only genre that these violent tendencies are inferred from. #Bosma

"If people do raps, that means they have a criminal mind?" Dungey says. "I listen to opera all the time. Opera is filled with violence. Does that mean all these great composers have a criminal mind?"
by Adam Carter 3:02 PM

Dungey bellows "Out, Out, damn spot! Does that mean Shakespeare had a criminal mind?"
by Adam Carter 3:02 PM

"This is grasping at straws, and nothing more," Dungey says.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 55s55 seconds ago
"Does it mean Shakespeare 'Out, out damn spot!' Did he have a criminal mind?" asks Dungey.

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 50s50 seconds ago
Shakespeare, out out, damn spot! Did he have a criminal mind? Dungey asks. Says Millard's lawyer must have misspoken when he said...

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 23s23 seconds ago
He says he listens to opera and that's full of violence. #Bosma

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 47s48 seconds ago
He belts Shakespeare's "out, our damn spot!" "Does that mean they have a criminal mind?" #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 46s47 seconds ago
"All these artists had inner thoughts of violence?...This is grasping at straws," says Dungey. "Rap music is very popular."

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 54s55 seconds ago
... raps are Smich's reflection of his inner voice. That's grasping at straws, nothing more, says Dungey. Rap is very popular, he tells jury

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 47s48 seconds ago
Smich also rapped about travelling to places he didn't go to, money he didn't have, girls he didn't know. #Bosma

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 47s47 seconds ago
Dungey says that's Millard's team "grasping at straws." #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 36s36 seconds ago
Smich said he rapped about money and women and didn't have any of that, says Dungey. "Then I guess Mr. Millard has the same criminal mind...

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 28s29 seconds ago
"...because he was rapping too." To say it's a criminal mind "is an insult to rappers."

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 33s33 seconds ago
Dungey says to suggest you need a criminal mind to write raps is an insult to the genre. #Bosma

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 39s40 seconds ago
To put rap in a different category than artistic expression is an insult to rappers, Dungey says, and notes many jurors are smiling at him.

Peter Akman ‏@PeterAkmanCTV 2m2 minutes ago
Dungey "They are grasping at straws!" #Bosma @CTVNews

He says saying that it's a criminal aspect is "an insult to rappers."
by Adam Carter 3:04 PM

Dungey now back on the Noudga letters.
by Adam Carter 3:04 PM

Dungey says these letters can only be evidence against Millard, not about Smich. "They're like a confession. They're like an inner look into the mind of Mr. Millard."
by Adam Carter 3:05 PM

XiolaBlueX, do you like TD's style? He sounds like he is a really good public speaker and I don't think he needs a script. De is doing just fine without one. How does his body language read?
The defence teams appear to be well suited to their respective clients. I think by now reality should be sinking in for DM. MOO

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 54s54 seconds ago
Smich is off drugs, got his Gr 12, obviously not stupid, Dungey says. Being a petty dealer & thief was a really bad part of his life.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 53s53 seconds ago
Dungey acknowledges Smich is different today from 3 years ago. Says he has tried to better himself in jail. #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 50s50 seconds ago
Pillay called Smich intelligent. Dungey says his client has worked to improve himself in jail. Educated himself. "Better himself."

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 1m1 minute ago
"He does not ever, every waiver from his testimony of what happened," says Dungey of Smich.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 1m1 minute ago
Dungey says Smich never warier from his story. #Bosma

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 42s43 seconds ago
After all those days on the stand he never waivers from his testimony, Dungey says. The lawyers in this room are all very experienced.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 59s59 seconds ago
"Not one aspect of what he says happened to Mr. Bosma, contradicted," says Dungey.

Adam Carter ‏@AdamCarterCBC 44s45 seconds ago
Dungey says the way Smich testified "rings of truth." #TimBosma #Bosma

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 38s39 seconds ago
The fact Smich came back every day and didn't change is story is an indication he is an innocent man, Dungey says.

Alex Pierson ‏@AlexpiersonAMP 43s43 seconds ago
"to testify the way he did shows an indication we're talking about an innocent man.he rings truth. there'd be wavering and contradictions."

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 37s38 seconds ago
"It rings of truth, what he was saying. It rings out to you," says Dungey...coming back to Plaxton report at Bobcat video in Brantford...

I must be deaf in that ear.

"What is the satchel doing in Mr. Millard's washing machine?" Dungey asks. Smich said Millard had it on him the night Bosma died.
by Adam Carter 2:03 PM

"Mark Smich's testimony is not a scenario. It's not a theory," Dungey says.
by Adam Carter 2:04 PM

"You will decide as to what you believe." Dungey says the Smich we're seeing now is not the Smich of three years ago. He's off drugs, he's educating himself.
by Adam Carter 2:04 PM
BBM
I read this before, many times, but it didn't cling to me until today.
If MS shot TB and had the gun in his hoodie, why did DM have this satchel in the washing machine with blood on it?
(although the blood was not tested if it was human or not)

It would fit the "story" of Dell put the gun in his satchel. But reading this a hundred times, I didn't make the connection until now.
Fact or fiction? Story to fit the evidence? Or truth?

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 57s58 seconds ago
Dungey now onto the Noudga letters. He stresses these are evidence against Millard, not Smich. He says they're like "confessions." #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 55s56 seconds ago
Now the Noudga letters. Written by Millard to Noudga. Can only be used as evidence related to Millard, not to Smich, says Dungey. #Bosma

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 45s46 seconds ago
He says they provide a glimpse into his mind. #Bosma

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 1m1 minute ago
The Noudga letters are only evidence against Millard, Dungey says. They are Millard's own words. Can't be used against Smich

Colin Butler ‏@ColinButlerCBC 42s43 seconds ago
Dungey says Millards jailhouse letters are only evidence that can be used against Millard. #TImBosma

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 38s39 seconds ago
Dungey says letters deal with tampering, fabrication of evidence, framing of Mark Smich and soliciting of Christina Noudga to be his alibi.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 1m1 minute ago
Letters deal with tampering, fabrication of evidence, framing of Smich and Noudga as alibi.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 41s41 seconds ago
He recalls that in her testimony she said she started wondering at one point about his asks. #Bosma

Peter Akman ‏@PeterAkmanCTV 2m2 minutes ago
Millard's letter to Noudga - evidence against Millard, NOT Smich. says Dungey #Bosma @CTVNews

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 51s52 seconds ago
Millard tells her she is the most important witness and he needs her. In her own notes she writes: Why am I the most important witness?

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 38s39 seconds ago
Dungey recalls that Noudga wondered at one point whether she was being used by Millard; why am I most NB witness? She writes.

Dungey says the letters deal with tampering, fabrication of evidence, soliciting Noudga to be an alibi, and framing Smich.

Peter Akman ‏@PeterAkmanCTV 8s8 seconds ago
Dungey points to Smich and blares... "An innocent man!" #Bosma @CTVNews

***That's a stretch IMO

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 39s40 seconds ago
To put rap in a different category than artistic expression is an insult to rappers, Dungey says, and notes many jurors are smiling at him.

Does this smiling during the rapping comments speak to anyone here? I can't figure out if it means they are humouring him or that they agree with him that rap lyrics aren't important in this trial.

"[Millard] was soliciting Christina Noudga to come to court and lie for him," Dungey says. "Match up the stories so they could come to court and fabricate an alibi."
by Adam Carter 3:08 PM

Dungey says "luckily for Mr. Smich" Noudga didn't destroy the letters.
by Adam Carter 3:09 PM

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 58s58 seconds ago
Dungey says if these letters had not been found, if Noudga had agreed with him, "an innocent man would've been convicted most likely" #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 42s42 seconds ago
If these letters had not been found, if Noudga had agreed to be his alibi, an innocent man — Smich — might have been convicted, says Dungey.

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 1m1 minute ago
If Noudga had gone along with the letter direction and destroyed them, she could have come and provided the false scenario Millard provided

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 55s56 seconds ago
Millard wanted specific details from Noudga to make sure their stories matched up. #Bosma

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 54s54 seconds ago
Dungey says this is an "in depth look at a criminal mind." He says luckily for Smich she didn't destroy the letters. #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 47s48 seconds ago
"You see the criminal element we have here?" Dungey asks. "She was supposed to destroy those letters. Luckily for Mr. Smich, she didn't."

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 44s44 seconds ago
Millard also tried to get Noudga to tamper with Michalski and Hagerman. She says she didn't agree. #Bosma

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 46s47 seconds ago
I urge you, vigilant jurors, to read these letters in depth, and see what he's up to, Dungey says. Millard wants gf to be his secret agent

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 39s39 seconds ago
"Who tampers with witnesses except someone who's guilty?" Dungey asks. #Bosma

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 35s35 seconds ago
Millard knew what Michalski and Hagerman would say in their testimony, and he's tampering with that, Dungey says.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 14s14 seconds ago
Millard wants her to tamper with Michalski and Hagerman. But she says she doesn't, says Dungey.

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 46s46 seconds ago
"Who tampers with witnesses except someone whose guilty?"

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 37s37 seconds ago
Millard wanted a witness to testify that he often lends out his cell phone too, according to the letters, Dungey says.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 37s37 seconds ago
Dellen also wanted a witness to testify about how he loans his cell phone out. He wanted the court to hear Smich borrowed his cell phone.

Peter Akman ‏@PeterAkmanCTV 2m2 minutes ago
Dungey urging Jury to read the letters written by Millard. Read them all. Indepth. #Bosma @CTVNews

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 46s47 seconds ago
We are so fortunate to have these letters, to see exactly what he was thinking after he was arrested and is in jail, Dungey says.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 37s38 seconds ago
There are no limits to how far he'll go, Dungey says. Tells jury we're "fortunate" to have these letters. #Bosma

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 17s17 seconds ago
In letters, Millard says it looks like Michalski's on board, says Dungey. Michalski says that wasn't true. But he admits lying to police.

molly hayes ‏@mollyhayes 15s15 seconds ago
In one letter, Millard writes that it looks like Michalski's on board. Michalski says he was not. Dungey asks if he can be believed.

Lisa Hepfner ‏@HefCHCHNews 9s10 seconds ago
Millard clearly didn't care for his mother or girlfriend. He got them involved, Dungey says. "There are no limits, I suggest to you."

Susan Clairmont ‏@susanclairmont 8s9 seconds ago
Millard claims to love Noudga, but he asks her to perjure herself in court. His mother took illegal letters to Noudga. Got her involved.

"Who tampers with witnesses except someone who is guilty?" Dungey says.
by Adam Carter 3:10 PM

"His mother delivers the letters to Christina Noudga. Does he care about his mother? No, obviously not. You don't get your mother involved."
by Adam Carter 3:13 PM
