Just got back from the site where she was found. All the police tape is down and there is a memorial growing on the edge of the field. I took some pictures, I'll see if I can post them. Lots of folks standing there, some folks I recognize from pictures as being Brianna's friends/family. All the males (myself included) were really eyeballing other males that showed up - you could feel in the air that the community wants to get the SOB that did this.

I walked around the field and I think I know where the body was found, but I can't be sure as it's been pretty well trodden. It is pretty overgrown. I can't see walking through it as a short cut from anywhere to anywhere, but that's just my quick observation.
Thank you for taking us there, . I know it hasn't been easy for you, but I really appreciate all you have done. I can imagine how all the males at the nearby businesses will be checked out, too.

Thanks ! Your photography is great and we can see what the articles are talking about with the field and office buildings etc.

,
Just adding my thanks............wonderful pictures!

I can't help but notice all the buildings in the surrounding area. Almost every picture you took has at least one building in the background. I think I even spotted a house. This is a very public area.

TY . Very appreciated.

I'm watching 6PM Fox News...the sketch they are showing looks like the one they've been showing for quite a few days.

, thank you for all of the information.
And I'm with all of you there, I want the SOB found too, and soon!

Thank you ! I'm amazed that no one saw anything from the upper floors of the surrounding buildings.

Yep. Although it's an open field, it's hardly an isolated area. There is lots of much more open space around - although you would have to drive a little further.

The choice of this field just seems odd to me. It's not the type of area you'd drive into and expect to have open space - there is this lot and a couple others, but if you were to randomly exit 395 at the South Meadows Parkway exit you would not expect there to be open fields close by. (If you look at most of the online mapping services, realize that the pictures they use are almost all out of date, and what may look like open area is often developed as of today in that part of town). It makes me think he knew this field would be available.

So many isolated places around Reno, but he takes her to a not so isolated spot 8 miles away. I hope they check out every male that has a good view of that field from their office.

... A friend's sister went missing in South Carolina. The sister and her husband owned their own small company, and the sister left work early telling her husband she was going shopping at Walmart. One of the first things the police did was to check the outside security cameras all Walmarts have trained on their parking lots. The security cameras captured the sister's car pulling into a parking space, two men jumping into the car from drivers and passenger sides, and the car speeding off. The sister had been carjacked and the Walmart security cameras captured the carjacking.
So sorry to hear about your friend's sister. How very sad. I am glad that they caught the murderers, though.

I have heard that some places of business have security cameras that record over the data fairly soon. I'm assuming that there is no need to keep the tapes if their place has not been vandalized or burglarized. We can hope, though, that something will surface that will help identify and capture this rapist and murderer.

If a person didn't work in the area, are there homes nearby so someone would need to drive by that area often? He is reported to have worn work-out type clothes - is there a Health Club around there?

Thanks for the pics it gives us a good perspective to view this case. I agree with other posters that it may be on his way home, work or gym. More a matter of convenience for him vs. a well described plan to hide the body. She was a small person and the grassy area could easily hide a body from plain view as it was workers walking around there that finally saw her.

I think they will catch this guy and I hope it is sooner than later. I still worry that another victim could be in the wings until they catch him.

I bet this guy has some MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) training or experience. LE should follow that possibility. Mixed Martial Artists regularly "choke out" their opponents in a short period of time. They simple render them unconscious, they don't actually kill them, obviously. They do it by cutting off the blood supply to the brain, rather than the air supply, in many cases. Or a combo of both.
That's very interesting ~ thank you for the information! :) It would also explain how he was able to come up behind the victim and incapacitate her that way.

I'm also thinking he may work near where she was left and has been watching to see when she'd be found. In other words, that location could've been in his 'comfort zone'.

I agree . i think he knows this area at least fairly well. If it is a fact that he dumped her about 100 feet in, then I don't think his desire was so much to make sure that she was found, but to put her back far enough to give him a time distance concerning her discovery.

Thank you for the great pics, !

I think that is possible, too panthera. I think he may have intimately close ties to where Brianna was abducted, especially because of the exceptionally small range from which he attacked/abducted young women from. I also think that he drove to a place that he felt comfortable driving to dump her body.

Thanks so much for the photos :) The spot where the memorials are isn't exactly where she was found, correct? Toward the end of the photos I saw a couple that looked like where the body had been.

That's just one possibility I'm thinking of, and of course, if it's true, he's probably not driving that truck anymore.

I don't know if he was watching for her to be found, but I think he drove to and dumped her at a place that he knew about and felt comfortable doing so at.

I'll agree, and to me would mean that he may have lived or worked around there at some point, if he doesn't now.

Mother’s request to the community

Brianna Denison’s mother, Bridgette, wants the community to shift from “Bringing back Bri” to bringing justice for Bri, a family friend said today.
Since Brianna disappeared Jan. 20, the community has rallied with vigils, circulating fliers and posters and maintaining hope she would return safely. That hope was dashed Saturday when an autopsy concluded Brianna was the woman found Friday strangled in a field in a South Reno industrial area.
Family friend Leslie Kookenboo said this morning Bridgette Denison requested the community do four things:
1. Find Brianna’s killer.
2. Take down all of the “Bring Bri Back” signs. Replace them with blue ribbons. She wants Reno to be “entirely blue” until her killer is found.
3. Attend a celebration of Brianna’s life that being planned that may be titled “Live, Love and Unite.” Logistics are still being worked out and no specific time, date or place had been established.
4. Rally for stricter laws against sexual offenders and to have laws that would require more DNA profiles on file so that everyone woman and child would be protected.
