In my experience, this is pretty common. Researches are still exploring the connections (and lack thereof) between sex and sexual orientation.

As I said above, my in-law who transitioned M2F is now happily married to a lovely lesbian woman. if nothing else, this strongly suggests that transexuality, at least in many cases, has little to do with one's choice in sexual partners.

I've not done a ton of research, but from the little bit of reading I have done, it does seem like it is not unusual.

I'm interested in reading more about sexual orientation and transponders, but I'm not sure which sites are respected. If anyone has reading suggestions, let me know.

Why's that? Do you think that it is only the rich and famous who think that they can use their cellphones while they drive?

How many of them just offed a women and injured a family due to being inattentive?

Wait...what? Sexual orientation and transponders? There is no literature on that, as it is like talking about the connection between the color orange and monkey wrenches.

OK--I thought there might be some information out there No big deal if there isn't.

Well, in the spirit of good conversation, and not meaning this as any sort of an insult, I'm going to guess that you misunderstand what 'transponder' means. I'm going to guess that you meant some other word there.

I'm sorry, but you just made my night!!!:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

Actually, it seems like a nationwide problem, not just one of the rich and famous. The national organization for youth safety reports that 48% of teens have seen their parents drive while talking on a cell phone, 15% have seen their parents text while driving, and 27% of adults have sent or received text messages while driving. They also have the following statistics:

Texting While Driving Causes:
1. 1,600,000 accidents per year – National Safety Council
2. 330,000 injuries per year – Harvard Center for Risk Analysis Study
3. 11 teen deaths EVERY DAY – Ins. Institute for Hwy Safety Fatality Facts
4. Nearly 25% of ALL car accidents

Texting While Driving Is:

1. About 6 times more likely to cause an accident than driving intoxicated
2. The same as driving after 4 beers – National Hwy Transportation Safety Admin.
3. The number one driving distraction reported by teen drivers

Texting While Driving:

1. Makes you 23X more likely to crash – National Hwy Transportation Safety Admin.
2. Is the same as driving blind for 5 seconds at a time – VA. Tech Transportation Institute
3. Takes place by 800,000 drivers at any given time across the country
4. Slows your brake reaction speed by 18% – HumanFactors & Ergonomics Society
5. Leads to a 400% increase with eyes off the road

Rather sobering statistics.

I NEVER text while driving. Never ever. But I do talk on my cell sometimes. I do it quickly and only in gridlock or similar situations. I know it is very distracting though.

A transponder is an electronic device used to wirelessly receive and transmit electrical signals.

No wonder Bruce is confused - he hasn't been wearing his tin foil hat

I don't know how folks do all this stuff. I can't even text while I'm walking.

Texting while walking is dangerous. Very dangerous. So don't try.. :)
I don't text while driving but I will have siri read it to me if I am heading to meet someone. I will check messages at a light, or I pull over But not because I am just so obsessed with a text, Only if I am waiting on one while going to meet that person. Everything else can wait. Most times I just throw it in my bag and leave it there. I think people do many many things that are more dangerous, writing while driving, shaving while driving, Makeup while driving.

For me it is not the texting, It is the fact that you allow yourself to be distracted in any way.

He wasn't on the phone or texting when the accident happened so I don't see the relevance.

And terms such as "offed" when referring to a death during an accident is ridiculous and shows some people have a huge agenda.
