I seem to remember that Chastity Armstrong was found safe.

ETA: Chastity's WS thread. Found alive! She returned home about two months after she disappeared

Jordan Johnson found alive.

Wheew, thank goodness two girls were found safe!

Four missing women within a three week period?

Just what I was thinking. Still, there are missing girls that need to be found from this list, and I've done a bit more searching, there are additional girls to look into that turned up missing in the time frame from the area. Just to make it easier I'll put the list at the bottom on this post.

3 because 2 were found or returned home.

Always good news when a person that was missing is found safe! :)

An updated list of missing girls from this area (Kind of scary that this is just from this area, and such a short period of time...if they are connected):

Sonia Castanon (First Missing) March 4 2010 - THURSDAY
Cynthia Tucker (Second Missing) April 12 2010 - MONDAY
Ali Lowitzer (Third Missing) April 26, 2010 - MONDAY
Alyssa Lynn Suarez (Fourth Missing) May 3, 2010 - MONDAY
Felechia Goodman (Fifth Missing) May 16, 2010 - SUNDAY

Edited to add this article:

With 40 people missing from two adjoining counties, is it something sinister or is it just a coincidence?

http://www.missingpersonsofamerica.com/2012/03/missing-texas-forty.html

Second edit to add this article just found from the same site:

Will more victims be found connected to the alleged killer of Mickey Shunick?

On the 5 listed that are missing, I believe only Ali is still missing. No one has been able to find any verification on the other 4 and the ones that were commented in the WS thread links to their missing pages no longer resolve. I did find a comment in the WS thread that Cynthia Tucker had been found & I think I can see Felechia posting on facebook.

I hope they have been found. I must not be very good at this, I searched for the names individually, Websluths & found and didn't find anything. Thanks for letting me know. I probably should stop looking.

From one of your links (bolding is mine):

That was a red flag for Sanford because in the days after Ali went missing, two separate tips came through, which reported a white truck pulled over where Ali was walking. "They were saying without a shadow of a doubt, they knew it was Ali once they saw all the missing fliers," said Sanford. "And that they saw a white truck with an extended cab, a domestic truck trying to coax and girl on the side of the road."

Question: By "domestic truck", is he just meaning an American-made truck...?

It's all good. All the help they can get is needed. I'm learning most of the good sites promptly remove references to these young missing people when they do return home. So not being able to confirm is hopefully all good. I'm still concerned that someone may be forgotten that is still missing, so good to have more people checking to be sure.

I was looking around at other graveyards, remote ones and this is one that is very remote. Figured I would post it here. If there are more victims I hope LE searches this area. There is nothing for me to say BSL even knew this area but the remote spot I would imagine would be ideal for him. It is creepy...and MOO

Seems, BSL was comfortable carrying out his sadistic rituals in these serene safe havens, under the cloak of darkness...

'Yikes'
Texas' Serial Killers: Someone's Selling The Dirt From Their Graves On eBay Online

This first came to light when Andy Kahan, the world's leading expert on murderbilia (he literally coined the phrase) noticed that a well-known dealer of murderbilia was trying to sell bags of dirt from the graves of

* serial killers Henry Lee Lucas and Kenneth McDuff.(TX)

Both are buried at Captain Joe Byrd Cemetery, which is owned by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.

'Ironically Spring, TX is only 47.3 miles from the TDCJ - Captain Joe Byrd Cemetery in Huntsville, TX'.

So it looks like they are going to link the murder of Alexandria in Spring Texas to BS Lavergne. That takes us in an entirely new direction if it is true ( and in my opinion it will be linked). So what we know is that in 1999 he was arrested for rape and participated in the murder of Lisa Pate. Skip to 2011 and he is seen talking to a girl outside of her work and the girl comes up missing and is presumed dead. Then there is Mickey Shunick and he buried her in a cemetary. We also know that he had various items from other women in his home. When we add up all the facts, we get a guy who has raped and murdered close to his home and close to bio relatives' homes. He is fairly attractive, articulate, drives a nice truck and has a job, and it seems it is somewhat easy for him to talk to new girls. At which point he kidnaps them and kills them. He does this in daylight and dark too and in places where he can be seen and/or videotaped. He uses different vehicles and has been able, somehow, to buy and sell vehicles even when he was in jail....so someone somewhere was aware at least peripherally of what he was doing and may have been assisting him whether they knew it or not. However, knowing that he has killed these three in daylight and dark means that the odds are that there are many more. So far we have victims near Lafayette and Spring Texas. But my worry is that I have read that he also worked in Texas at a Toyota Dealership as a mechanic. I have not been able to locate much information on this, but I hope that the investigators can tie in the time he worked in Houston with some of the I-45 murders which I believe would have happened around the dealership that he worked at. My opinion only.

I haven't thrown Jessica Cain's name out because I thought 15 years ago was to early in BSL's career. But if he worked at a Toyota dealership here it makes me wonder.

Here's her thread. BSL would have been 18, not out of the question. Sometime around 1997-98 is when he dropped out of high school and best I can tell, was in the army at least as early as April 1999 so no telling where he hung out 97-98-99 besides Montgomery Co/Spring TX area & LA.

Not sure which post to quote.

There are several BL's living in the Houston area. One of them lives in a suburb south of the city, went to San Jacinto College and now works as a mechanic at a Toyota dealership. The guy is not BSL.

I don't think BSL's employment as a mechanic at a Toyota dealership in Houston has ever been verifed or confirmed. IMO we need to be careful about what we post as fact vs. rumour. What starts out as a possiblity or speculation or theory often shows up in later posts as fact.

Remember what happened with Gary Lavergne!

I live in the Houston area, and I remember this on the news the first time. I have 3 daughters who would have been 16, 17 & 18 when this happened, so these cases always touch my heart. I was left with the impression she was a runaway too (I think because media stated LE was thinking that), however I did not feel that was possible due to the other circumstances, i.e. the cell phone charger left behind, paycheck not picked up, etc.
I sure hope if BSL is connected, he helps locate any and all victims.

Just about to go to sleep - but had a thought!

Now that we know 'BS' Lavergne owned another damned white truck (not the one he used in Mickey's abduction) ....

Is there a possibility that the white truck seen in the Lauren Spierer case is the same one that was seen in Ali Lowitzer's case???

:waitasec:

Wonder if that March 97 date for Army is truth. He would have turned 18 in Jan but Ft Polk would still be a short driving distance and wouldn't change her being a potential victim of his.

you see the views that also looked at that link? LOL a PI and Detective!
